What a feeling it is to promise your love to someone, surrounded by the people who matter most to you. Just like love,it is not something to be described,it is something to be felt and on our wedding day everyone could feel the happiness, joy and marital bliss that Elton and I felt on our special day when we said "I DO". I will treasure this day forever.
We went to the beautiful Greece for our honeymoon. It was such a perfect destination for a newly wed couple. Greek culture is alive with passionate music, inspired cuisine and thrill-seeking activities. Greece has such beautiful history and we were able to discover more and more of it as we walked through the streets of Athens and went to go visit the ancient sun- bleached ruins. We then took a ferry to Santorini, this Island was the most breathtaking place I’ve ever visited. The island itself is a caldera and the half moon shape of the island makes for some amazing photos! We couldn’t get enough of the traditional white cave houses perched over the crystal clear blue water, and the incredible sunsets. It was just the perfect setting for honeymooners, we didn’t want to leave! We then stopped off in Istanbul. The bustling metropolis of Istanbul in Turkey is a vibrant city with everything going for it. We were able to sight see the most beautiful historical places in Istanbul, we were blown away by the majestic mosques, amazing churches and the grand Bazaar.
My make up was done by Lynnal Dickson and my hair by Heidi Houston. These ladies made me feel like a princess and gave me the perfect bridal look.
Accessories and wedding dress was from Bride & co. I bought my dress 9 months before the wedding. I tried it on and never wanted to take it off. I knew it was the ONE so i bought it there and then.

Everything was just so perfect, and we had wedding that was filled with love, happiness and laughter.

My nails and toe nails were done a day before the wedding by Rene from Tips and Toes.
My decor and flowers were done by Ingrid from A2Z events specialist. She did an excellent job and transformed the wedding venue into a fairytale wedding venue. The colours were gold, cream and blush pink. There was chandeliers, flower walls, fairylights, gold lanterns, beautiful white loungers and flowers in abundance.
We had 4 groomsmen- 4 guys who hold a special bond with the groom. They wore tan suits that we hired from Belle & Bravado with white shirts and tan bow ties. The groom wore an ink blue suit also hired from Eurosuit. Elton's waistcoat and tie was tan and matched the Groomsmen.
I had 4 bridesmaids. My bridesmaids wore turquoise (my favourite colour) dresses that were chosen and designed by themselves. They wore nude heels to match the Groomsmen.
