“Every love story is beautiful, but ours is my favorite ”. Our wedding day was the most magical day ever, with the most priceless memories.
Our dream wedding celebration unfolded in the scenic English inspired setting of Camp Orchards Boutique resort in Hillcrest, Durban. This setting tied up beautifully with our overarching theme which was inspired by the many "Royal Weddings" that I grew up watching. Seeing my own royal fairytale come to life was certainly a dream come true.
From being carted to the wedding ceremony in my very own English inspired horse and carriage, seeing my handsome groom at the front of the aisle, to saying our covenant vows under the open canopy of heaven, are few of the priceless moments I will forever treasure. The Ceremony was more than I ever expected and just when I thought it could not get any better the reception blew us away.
The day flew by so fast and today its the amazing memories that makes my heart bubble with so much joy gratitude and thankfulness.
We spent the day after our wedding at the beautiful Oyster Box, in Umhlanga. My husband and I thereafter jetted of to the magical island of Mauritius. This was a special "all inclusive" wedding gift from my parents .Clear water, blue skies, white sand, sun, Seaview prestige luxury room, unlimited food and drinks, water activities and absolute bliss, I could of not imagined it any better. One word that comes to mind, "Perfect".
I went for a classic look. I had two wedding dresses, a stunning ball gown imported from the Netherlands for the ceremony and a fitted mermaid style gown embellished with pearls and Swarovski crystals for the reception.
Hair and Make up was done by Kirsten from Accentuate hair and makeup academy.
Camp Orchards will forever be a special place in my heart as it was the key feature in our perfect wedding day. It is truly the most beautiful, breath taking venue I have ever seen. Any bride and groom who are lucky enough to have their big day there will never regret it. Our Family amd Friends are still going on about how beautiful the venue was.
In the months prior to the wedding, I had regular facials at Dermatologica. I maintained a healthy well balanced diet with regular gym activities.
