I don't really know where to start, I feel like the whole day was so memorable for me, just typing this puts a smile on my face because it was such a special day! My best memory of the day must be seeing my husbands face as I was walking down the isle. I never imaged i would ever be so emotional. We were so blessed on the day, surrounded by our closest family and friends and with not a cloud in the sky.

I was getting married in the forest so I wanted to look whimsical and simple. I wore a 2 piece wedding dress. It was a tight fitted lace mermaid dress with a removable tulle ball gown skirt over it. My mother made my wedding dress which makes it extremely special to me.
My hair and make up was done by Tammy Pienaar. My make up was flawless and subtle just as I wanted it.
My hair was curled and half of it was pinned up.
I wore the most gorgeous flat crystal embellished shoes from Superbalist which made me feel like a real princess.
I actually forgot about the lingerie and sent my bridesmaids the day before to get me some and luckily they got me a gorgeous set from Woolworths.
My jewellery was a gift from my mother.

Yes they did. We booked the venue for the whole weekend so the guests stayed the Friday and Saturday night.
From about 3 months before the wedding I just made sure to look after my skin and did face mask regularly.

I used Spotted Owl for my flowers and decor. They did an amazing job on everything and were very affordable.
I wanted lots of greenery and only white flowers.
In the forest for the ceremony we had a copper arch covered in greenery and white flowers.
Reception decor was romantic and clean. White table clothes, white napkins and crystal along with lots of greenery and white flowers. It was exactly what we wanted!
We had tons of candles to give it the romantic feeling we wanted.
I did some elements myself like the seating plan and large signs at the wedding.
Grooms wore black suits with white long sleeve shirts. They all owned a black suit so it made it easy and affordable for all the guys. They each had a button hole.
My Bridesmaids wore these beautiful long navy lace off the shoulder dresses from YDE. with an elegant updo and simple flawless makeup, they looked amazing!

The venue provided a tractor for the groom and groomsmen. I was driven to the ceremony in a friends car that was big enough for my huge dress.
We used CHC catering, who were AMAZING! We got so many complements about the food after the wedding.

My one bridesmaid Abigail Nel is an amazing graphic designer and she did all of our stationery for us.
During the ceremony and during the pre-reception drinks we had a violinist play.
We used Thomas Thornhill as our DJ. He also did a fantastic job. He brought all the lighting and sound equipment.
