The highlight of our special day would be waking up on the morning of our wedding with my mother and friends, slowly getting dressed knowing that soon I was going to be walking down the aisle to marry the man of my dreams! The minute I saw him all my nerves and worries left, I knew he was everything my heart desired!
Yes we did go on honeymoon, we spent two nights in Knysna at the Forest Valley Cottages and then two nights in Tsitsikamma at The Armagh.
We went for a very rustic and relaxed wedding theme. My hair was placed into an upstyle with a braid on the side and my makeup was very natural. My dress was designed by the amazingly talented Johan Wolmarans and I was lucky enough to have his stunning wife make my hair piece and garter. My shoes were simple sandals from Woolworths and my jewellery was from my mother and grandmother.
We got married at African Sky's in Port Elizabeth.
It was rather simple, I tried my best to eat clean but otherwise it was normal. I had my nails done every month for 3 months before the wedding so that they were a bit longer. Unfortunately due to a hip injury I couldn't exercise.
The amazing Lynley from Floral creations and the hire warehouse did all our decorations and flowers for our big day. As I always wanted my grandmother to be apart of my wedding day and unfortunately she passed 2 years ago, her favourite colour was pink so I used that as my wedding colour and my flowers were pale pink roses which also was her favourite. Lynley also created a special memorial table for her next to me.

Nina Claasen Lifestyle photography was our photographer and honestly we couldn't have asked for a better person. She captured our true personalities in our pictures. She also set up a photo booth section where guests could have their pictures taken.
Nope, I'm far too controlling for that. I planned everything on my own.
My darling mother drove me to the venue as well as walked me down the aisle.
The venue prepared the food for us and my cake was made by House Of Bakes.
True story designs created our wedding invitations and Godspeed trading made our wooden save the dates.
