It was a day that I could never begin to describe in words... From crying my eyes out the night before the wedding because my flowers was a disaster to crying tears of joy because I could not believe that God had allowed me to find my Mr Right. A day filled with so many emotions surrounded by friends and family witnessing our special day was something that I would want to do all over again... Everything was just PERFECT :)
Yes we did. We went for a few days to Knysna, Brenton on Sea to be exact and when we came back we spent some time in the mountains at Piekeniers Kloof :)
Pure Bliss
My profile pic answers this part of the question. Blush Hair and Make up did a stunning job to my hair of which i thought would never grow by the time I got married, and my make up was done so professionally that I still looked good after a whole night of dancing at our wedding.
My wedding dress was made by a local lady who makes dresses for fun, my shoes was bought online through a Germany company and i had borrowed jewellery

This is what I absolutely loved about our host at our wedding venue - Karen, the best unofficial wedding planner that anybody could ask for. She basically did EVERYTHING to make our day so special and beautiful where the decor and lighting was concerned. All I had to do was say what I wanted and what wouldnt work and she put it all together :)
The groom had his suit made by GD Suits and the guys hired their suits at Top Hat
Pinterest was my best friend from the day that I got engaged. I was obsessed with Rose gold and since it was the colour of the season we happened to find their dresses at YDE in the EXACT STYLE that I had in mind :)
Our Marriage officer happened to be someone close to us and who attended the same church as us (bride and groom) Paul Mcavoy
Alexandra Photography captured our engagement shoot and our Special Day - the intense emotions in every picture that she captured told us a story. Moments that we thought would never be captured... she got them all :) a different service provider was used for a photobooth of which the guests could take home as many strips as they could with their pics on and our wedding date was printed on it as a memory :)
If I can call my husband a planner then yes I did :)
the calmest groom that I've ever met :) :)
Our wedding entourage was 8 people so we decided to hire a Hummer Limo which could accommodate all of us in one. Cape Town Limo was used
The Venue is a Restaurant apart from being a wedding Venue. They made all the food.
Lulubelles bakes made our beautiful wedding cake and Suga Cupcakes made our cupcakes for our guests :)
Toast and Tassels helped us make 1 of our thank you gifts for our wedding which was a wooden laser cut name for each of our guests. Our wedding invites was made by Good Letter Best.
My husband and Myself are quite good dancers so luckily we didnt have to upskill our dance moves for that first dance. We made use of a DJ who also happens to play on one of our favourite radio shows in Cape Town. Shane Langdon :)
