One of my favourite moments from our wedding day was just before the ceremony when Miles (blindfolded) and I (hiding behind a door) took a few minutes to say a prayer together. Those few moments of quiet anticipating the celebration about to start were so special.
Another highlight was the popcorn (popped by my cousin Katie) that we used as confetti! It made for beautiful photos as well as a tasty snack! And the peacocks on the farm cleaned up for us afterwards.
We went to Zanzibar - paradise!

Isobel Kriel did the most stunning hair and make up...soft curls, a flower crown and pink lips.
My mom made my 'something blue' garter and I borrowed the pearls that she wore on her wedding day, how special!
We got married on Morgenhof Wine Estate in Stellenbosch.
The ceremony was in their beautiful chapel and reception just next door in their big reception venue. The bridal party and some guests stayed in their massive manor house.
