The most memorable moment was when I walked down the isle to the man of my dreams for whom I have loved for 8 years! The look in his eyes, the love and passion he has for me gave me tears!!
Our first dance as a married couple also stood out for me as dancing is one of my greatest passions. To be in his arms, feeling so secure, gave me a warm feeling deep in my heart!
We went on this amazing trip to Thailand for +/- 10 days and what an awesome adventure it was! We had so much fun, exploring and visiting historical sites!
We went for a rustic look. Our colour theme included burgendy, navy blue and a hint of mint which brings me to our flower arrangements. We used succulents and roses as our main flowers.
I wore a Justin Alexander wedding gown with lace and a low cut back which I purchased from Bridal manor!
My jewellery included my late grandmother's engagement ring and wedding band which were very special and emotional for me on my wedding day! My mom bought me a very spacial bracelet with matching earings as my wedding gift!

Our special wedding day (24 March 2018) was held at Cussonia Crest wedding venue in Brits. Overnight facilities were available at the venue. Some of our close friends and family accommodated the rooms and enjoyed breakfast with us as married couple the following day!
My bridesmaids, mom, mother in law and myself went for a lovely spa day and sleepover at the fantastic Magalies Mountain Lodge the day before my wedding! We laughed and enjoyed life together, relaxing before the big day!
I kept fit by going to the gym 3 days a week prior to my wedding day, just to still fit in my beautiful wedding gown!
We went all rustic with wooden tables and beautiful chairs including organza backties!
We had wooden and glass underplates.
Our flowers includes succulents an burgundy roses arranged around a wooden lantern as center piece! Small white candles were also placed between the flower arrangements on the tables.
We had a massive dancefloor with an awesome DJ which is one of our best friends as well.
One of my favourite things was a wooden doorframe which we decorated with fairylights and photos of our live together (so much memories in one frame).
Our seating plan was illustrated on wooden windowframes which we broke out of our house after some renovations (thus very sentimental)!
We also had a sweety table as wedding favor for our guests.
My groom wore a blue suit with a light blue shirt and a burgundy tie purchased at London Royal in Pretoria! His belt and shoes matched (brownish). We specially engraved his cufflinks with our initials!
The groomsmen wore blue pants with a blue shirt simular to that of my groom as well as a matching belt and shoes. Instead the wore burgundy bow ties with little white spots.
We specially designed shoulder bouquets for the groomsmen!
My bridesmaids wore burgundy dresses purchased at Forever new! The looked stunning!!! Thanks to pinterest!!
Accessories were purchased at Bride and Co. They all had matching earings and necklaces which I gave them as a gift.
They all wore their hair in loose curls!
Our Marriage officer was one of our best friends Heinrich Stapelberg. We have known eachother since highschool which made it very special for us as a couple!!
We were so privileged to have the MOST amazing photographers and videographers to capture our special big day! We have know both of them for a while and become good friends over the years. We were also part of other weddings of friends which they also captured their special moments, thats when we knew we had to ask them to capture our bid day as well!! We couldn't have been more happy and satisfied with our providers!! They were awesome and we loved our photographs and wedding video! It brought back so many memories and special moments of our special day!!

Soooo much fun to ride on a carriage with donkeys!! We laughed the entire time, on our way to the Chapel! They were so sweet and the men leading them was so friendly!
We had a 3 Course meal prepared by the wedding venue!!! It was the best food I have ever tasted and eaten! There were more than enough for our guests to have second helpings.
Our wedding cake was gorgeous, a naked cake with flavours that made us lick off our fingers! It was decorated with beautiful flowers simular to the flowers arranged on our guest's tables! A big shoutout to La Morain's cake boutique!
We had wooden table numbers and a beautiful wooden guest book with our surname engraved on it! We made use of two lazer cutting providers: Topeserve and Emporium designs!
We had a DJ which also happens to be one of our best friends! Our first dance as married couple was on Brad Paisley's, Then! This song has so much memories which we are very sentimental about!
