I loved the whole day! But seeing my groom's face as I entered the chapel was an absolute highlight for me! I also really loved hearing the speeches. And the cake toppling over was pretty funny, too!

I wanted an elegant, timeless look for my wedding. Neither of us is over the top in any way so it was important that it all suited who we are as a couple.
Dress: All over lace and beaded fit and flare dress with exquisite train detail by Viola Chan at Bride n Co. I LOVE LACE! We had clip-on lace straps added for the ceremony.
Shoes: Miss Black silver wedges with beading.
Lingerie: A white lace bodysuit from Mr Price.
Jewellery: My earrings were a gift from my hubby from Pearl and Diamond. My necklace was borrowed from my grandmother-it was a gift from my grandfather for her 21st birthday.
Hair: My good friend Nicola Ford from Style4U did hair for me, my mom, the grandmothers and bridal party.
Makeup: Jessica Marr from JEMS Makeup Artistry did me, my mom, the grandmothers and bridal party's makeup.
The Hertford Country Hotel. Guests stayed over at the venue and we all enjoyed breakfast together the following day. Ruth was our coordinator and was fantastic!
None. We were our authentic selves!
Other than our nails-which were done at Sorbet.
We were so lucky that my super talented mom did all of our flowers for our wedding. They looked beautiful and she deserves all the credit. The lavender that we used was sourced from LavenderSA and they included the boutonnieres for the men and our flower girl's posie.
The groom wore a black suit with brown detail from Bride&co. His tie was from Florida Tailors and his shoes were from Shoe City. The groomsmen purchased their suits from Mr. Perfect at the Oriental Plaza.
We struggled to find purple dresses as it wasn't the colour of choice at the time. We eventually found one shoulder ombre dresses at Trueworths. My mom added a belt and detail to the shoulder.
Jamey Dykman from Horison Baptist Church. He was awesome!
Chane Basson was our incredible photographer and Denver Paulick and his wife, Samantha were our videographers.
The food was provided by the venue. It was a delicious and gorgeous looking plated menu. Our cake was done by Moemas Bakery and was scrumptious!
I designed and printed it all myself using a website called Canva.
We took dancing lessons for our first dance at The Dance Palace and our DJ was the awesome Deon from Sonic State Productions.
