This was an ultimate dream come true. Everything went exactly as planned . It was a beautiful summers day. I would give anything to re-live those couple of hours and would marry my hubby over and over again. He looked like my Prince Charming from my childwood fantasy.
We took a trip up to the west coast since neither myself nor my husband has been there before. We didn't book anywhere. We just packed and left. We had the time of our lives. We met so many people and everyone became friends.
Our fairytale was a combination of rustic with a bit of glamour in our favourite color combination of mint green and turquoise. Hair and make up was done by my beautiful beautician, Michelle Theron. My wedding dress was made to perfection by a local designer
We said I do in a horse stable at Olympia Estate. Definitely without doubt a day that we will remember for years to come!
Our venue was so absolutely beautifull that we didn't need much decoration. We had wood table runners covered with lace and a bling centre piece which was rented together with all the other decoration. For flowers we had dessert roses at the bottom of the centre piece combined with penny gum. At the top of the centre piece was roses also combined with penny gum and ivy. The brides table was covered with roses and proteas from side to side also combined with penny gum. For uniformity some chairs next to the aisle also had a protea tied to them. Both my bride maid's and my bouquet were combined with roses, dessert roses and penny gum. Everything made with love by my loving parents.
Both my handsome hubby and his best man were dressed in grey suits with a mint green button shirt and turquoise tie.

Ds Steyn. This is a family friend whom we grew up with. He also married my brother and sister in-law 4 years ago. We were the last couple who had the privilege of having him as a marriage officer as he now retired.
David Botha and his crew made our foto session so much fun and the photos is breathtaking. They really went the extra mile in capturing all the special moments ❤
No wedding planner. Myself, my hubby, mom and dad did everything ourselves. From the invitations right through to decorations, flowers and bouquets. I have real gifted parents
The owners of Olympia Estate did the catering and spoiled our guests with top class food. Our wedding cake was made locally and was absolutely stunning. Plain white, 2 layers with a dash of glamour
The party was so much fun. We had a blast with DJ Edward Murphy as our DJ. He played all the right songs to keep everyone on the dance floor
He definately did not miss a beat!
