Most memorable moments was from the beginning of the day. From trying to sneak peak through the window to see my future husband, to the moment I realized it was time, time to take the walk to my husband whom I have been together with for 11 years!! One would've thought that the romance would've taken a toll by now, but I can state differently . Walking down the isle was the most exhilarating feeling I have ever experienced. I just want to do it all over again. Our first dance and everything was just perfect. I miss every single detail of our day!
I have been warned that it goes by SO fast, so when everyone left the chapel, my husband and I just looked at each other, looking around and taking note of our wedding. As we walked out that chapel, it went by so fast that it felt like I have missed my whole wedding. So brides to be, really take a moment to just look at your wedding and enjoy every single moment, do not stress/worry about the small details no one even cares about. Your wedding is not about the decoration, its about you and your husband. IF something goes wrong, laugh about it, don't be so serious!
We visited my dream country Switzerland, most beautiful place in the world. Arriving in Geneva, touring through the beautiful alps ending in romantic Prague. WOW!!!
Most memorable was skiing in Zermatt Village.
My look was all about elegance. all the flowers was white that fitted with our beautiful wedding venue at Red Ivory, which was all about the glass covered views. So didn't really need much to change the look.
My look as the bride, was just elegance, my hair was modern side curls, my dress fitted like a glove (off white) with a touch of lace, I did not wear any lingerie, my dress was too tight, lol.
Jewelry was simple silver with diamond that complimented my wedding ring. My garter was just simple elegant lace.

I didn't really follow any regime. I believed that I didn't want to start something extreme that i cannot continue after the wedding.
So I just ate healthy, still cheated on weekends with my diet and always drank a lot of water, a lifestyle I maintain everyday anyway. I also try to go to the gym 3-5 times a week. focussed a lot on cardio the last two weeks before the wedding. I do facials every month, once. So didn't only focus on doing so for our wedding. I will not do teeth whitening due to my sensitive teeth. My husband and I did have a back and neck massage the day before the wedding to just relax and spend alone time together before the big day.
The last 3 weeks before the wedding I lost 3kg's due to stress. So future brides, it happens to all of us so don't put to much pressure on yourselves to loose the last minute weight.
Our décor was all white flowers, mix of roses, tulips and lilies complimented with alot of candles.
Table linen had a touch of silver. We didn't add and lighting except the candles. Didn't have to rent extras, our venue was exceptional enough.
Décor flowers and all the decorative details was done by NDM Weddings.
They all wore black suits with white shirts and black ties, the groom wore the same, just a tux and a inside jacket.

We struggled with the bridesmaids dresses as they all have such a different built and the maid of honor was pregnant.
So we decided on infinity dresses, but a bit different. Our color was champagne with added tulle. It was so beautiful and elegant. They received just as many compliments as the bride.
Their dresses was ordered from Gelique couture, Pretoria. I just loved the colour and we researched the different looks.

She was very helpful, we only met each other on the day of the wedding and I did not have problems feeling uncomfortable, she helped me a lot with positions and poses.

We didn't need transport, only with the photos to go out and take photos outside the venue, in which the venue organized their Range Rover to take us to the photo spots.
The venue's personal chef prepared the food and we decided on Krispy Kream doughnuts for a wedding cake. It is the only time you will not have wedding cake left. It was vanished within 30 minutes.
