Well where to begin.
From the very start when I opened my eyes I recieved the most romantic message from my husband to be. I woke up feeling like a princess.
But if we have to dig abit deeper. Walking down aisle, looking at the man of my dreams, my big day that I have waited for, for a very long time. It suddenly hit me. I got tears and my eyes and felt so emotional. I just knew I had to walk quicker to definitely not smuge my make up.
It was such an emotional moment but yet so special, and unique. Standing there holding my handsome man, he held me tightly all the way, and kept on telling me how beautiful I look.
When we shared our rings he was so nervous he forgot what hand to put it on. The whole service and day he never left my side, kept me close, complimenting me on how gorgeous I look and how happy he was.
Our first dance was perfect. Making many mistakes cause of nerves we managed to do it without anyone noticing.
The company of one another, the photobooth, cutting of the cake and tossing the garter. Every thing was so memorable, I wouldnt be able to choose a highlight. Our family and friends, the venue the hall, the whole vibe was the most memorable day of our lives.

Wow what an great experience it was. I wouldn't be able to justify it in as many words as how amazing experience it was for us. Not only were we a new married couple, but also it was our first time abroad.
How nervous and scared we were but at the same time so excited. We arrived in Mauritius, very exhausted. But as soon as we climbed in the bus, our journey began. There were so many things to see, people to meet. But we just couldnt wait to see our hotel. We stayed at Victoria Beachcomber for a week. It was surely the best place we could of picked for us. Relaxation, white sandy beach, lovley weather, coral reef and not even to begin to describe the hospitality and good service that was offered.
It was amazing we did as little as we could and relaxed but at the same time we did everything and experienced everything we wanted to and could, to make the most of our trip.
Playing around and snorkelling for fun, and the first time by the beach. My husband had 13stiches to remember his trip. But this didn't stop him from doing anything. We stil made the most of our trip, and were treated with such graciousness. Had a lovely time, would definitely do it again.
Like any girl, I dreamed of a fairytale wedding. One you could read about in books. I went for very soft colours but also fresh and different. After deciding on blush pink, rose gold and navey, we added grey. Oh and let me not forget floral. Our theme was proteas for there were 5 proteas on every table. It is the most gorgeous flower.
Hair was difficult, because of long and thick hair, we were scared curls wouldn't do it. But going for my curls two days before the time, and walking around with clips in my hair was totally worth it. Wow then my dress, what an amazingly beautiful princess dress. I went to Anel Botha with 5 different pictures, not knowing what I want but taking out an Idea out of every photo. Anel sat down an started to draw my dress... Love love loved it. Trusted her with all my heart. Most comfortable, complimentary dress ever.
With her smart eye and touch, she helped me with the bridesmaids dresses. The style and material fit perfectly, leaving my bridesmaids feeling like princesses to. It was truly a fairy tale.

Personally loved the feel, the look and the nature that surrounded it. They absolutely worked with us, and lightened our stress. Captured what we want and did everything the flowers, food, decor and all the final details.
When I walked in the reception everything was perfect, better than I could have asked or prayed for. Food was delicious, and dessert was the best.!
Well, closer to the day, you of course go for more pampering. Like a massage the day before, nails, wax, and facials. Definitely a must. It is a treat for a brides hard work. Also helps not to look so tired and exhausted.
I exercised everyday, but three weeks before the wedding it was to hectic to get around to gym. So I just followed an healthy eating plan.
Sleeping early and drinking lots of water.
Decor, well on the tables we had about 5 blush pink protea's, with roses, and lots of green in between. We had candel's in rose gold holders to just set the mood.
On the table was a mirror with a huge stander of flowers, a small glass holder with a protea and another with flower feature. In rose gold holders there was gip and pink roses. With the table number in a silver frame.
Every guest had a name on there plate, a printed menu and a thank you gift.
We also hired a jumping castle for the little ones. And a photobooth, for our guests.
The groom wore a custom fitted blue suit from Ultimo.
The groom and groomsmen got white shirts from Woolworths.
The groomsmen got grey Davy Jones pants and also ties from Woolworths
Brown Shoes and belts were there own.
Well ever since floral came in to fashion, I absolutely loved it and wanted everything floral. So we decided on grey floral dresses. Not only was it neutral, but fitted in perfectly. It looked fresh and so amazing. The girls were comfortable and felt like princesses to. Fitted with theme and colour scheme.

No, not really the venue does most of it. But the little decisions that needed to be made, were mostly me and the groom. Believe it or not he was part of every decision. And then my maid of honour helped me so much

Just for us girls from the guest house to the venue.
The food for our wedding the venue prepared cause they have there own Chefs. But delicious and mouth watering. YUM.
My uncle from Park Town Jetline helped us with printing the invitations and the guestbook. It came out so perfect and modern.
The rest like the thank you gifts, newspapers, fans and menus. Glinster and Glans. Great service quick and inexpensive.
For our party we went for dance classes a month before the wedding. Was a great learning experience, also a great way to bond with your partner.
Loved the experience would do it more frequently as a date nite.
Plus it made a great scene for our wedding video, and awesome captions.
