Every moment of our wedding day was a highlight and a memorable moment. Everything and every moment was just so perfect.
If I must choose a highlight it will be walking down the aisle to my beautiful husband. We both cried, it was so special. It was of course tears of joy and happiness.
Memorable moments was the ceremony, the pictures, speeches, when we threw the bouquet and garter, cutting the cake, the photobooth, when we played the shoe game and the dancing.

Mauritius - The Island of Love ❤️
It was magical, we loved every second of the honeymoon. Mauritius is such a beautiful destination.
There is not one day going by that we don't think of our magical honeymoon in Mauritius.
Every day was a dream come true and just so perfect. And a dream of ours was to go Parasailing, and we did it in Mauritius, that was so awesome!
We definitely want to go back some day for a second honeymoon. ;)
The Hair and Make-Up artist was Wilna Allpass. She is absolutely brilliant. She did everything and more that I wanted. She made me feel like a princess. My hair and meke-up were PERFECT! Just the way I wanted it and better.
I had a beautiful white fairytale like wedding dress. Bridal Inn designed it just the way I wanted it and it was so beautiful.
I had silver shoes with small diamonds, it went perfectly with my wedding dress.
I didn't wear a necklace, so all the attention can be on the dress. I had long diamond earings and a matching bracelet.
We got married at Colnera Estate, Heroldsbay. It is just a few minutes drive from George, Western Cape.
The Ceremony and Reception was at Colnera Estate. They have the most beautiful chapel and the venue is absolutely stunning.
From the first day we saw the venue we knew we wanted to get married at Colnera Estate.
They venue has chalets available for the guests so some of the guests stayed the night in their beautiful chalets.
I didn't follow a certain regime leading up to our wedding day. I just ate healthy, drank lots of water and exercised a lot to keep in shape and to fit perfectly in my wedding dress.
I was a lot in the sun in the summer and we got married in March so I was quite tanned on our wedding day.
The decor was beautiful. Plain and simple, we did not go overboard. We had white table cloths with hessian table runners, silver underplates with white cloth serviettes and a mint / turquoise flower around each serviette. The centerpiece was a mirror box with an upright light shining through a tall glass vase which was on the mirror box with one protea and crystals inside, it was so beautiful. Our table numbers were pictures of me and my husband. Table one was a picture when we were 1 year old, table two when we were 2 years old, etc. We had white chair covers with white voil tiebacks.
My husband looked absolutely STUNNING. He wore a beautiful beige suit, a beige waistcoat, a white long sleeve shirt with a mint coloured tie and brown shoes.
The groom had two groomsmen and they wore beige pants, a beige waistcoat, a white long sleeve shirt with a mint coloured tie and brown shoes. The groom and groomsmen nearly looked the same except the groomsmen didn't wear a jacket. All three of them wore the same socks, on the socks it said "I love boobies".
The groom's suit and the groomsmen's pants we hired at Amigo's Men's Fasion in George and Bridal Inn in George made all three waistcoats and ties.
I had two bridesmaids and both of them wore a mint coloured infinity dress.
Both me and my husband love the mint / turquoise colour so we decided that the bridesmaids should wear the mint infinity dresses.

The photographers and videographers were from the same company called Eonmedia.
We made use of a photo booth from a company called Amuse Photo Booths in George. It was definitely a highlight, the guests loved the photo booth.
No, we did not have a planner to help coordinate our day.
The wedding car was supposed to be a BMW X6. The morning of our wedding day the sales person at BMW George called to say that the X6 has just been sold. This is definitely not something that you want to hear on your wedding day.
But they were so nice and managed to get us a BMW 428i Gran Coupe. It's a beautiful car. It was a grey 428i Gran Coupe and our mint coloured personalized numberplates was a perfect match with the grey car.
A catering company called Chilli & Chive did the catering for our wedding. They exceeded our expectations, the food was so delicious.
Studebaker made our wedding cake, it was so beautiful. It was a three layer cake and the cake topper was me, my husband and his mountain bike. It was so special, because we are both mountain bikers.
We designed and printed the stationary ourselves.
We did not take dance lessons. Both of us can dance, but we rehearsed our opening dance at home.
