Our theme was Safari Colonial.....we want to got the feeling of a stylish Africa safari. The guests were dressed in beidge and white, like safari and no one had high heels on or ties.Comfartable but stylish. After the photos were taken,me and my husband arrived in a small fishing boat on the themesong of Bornfree. Our life is like journey...a safari. The whole wedding was outside with no formal dinning tables. It was a canape style wedding and a violanist was playing the noght away.
We both are nature lovers!!So we went on a African safari between Hoedspruit and Phalaborwa on different game farms. We went on game drives and hikes and enjoyed the boma fires everynight with the sound of roaring lions, laughing hyenas and different night owls in the background...We slept in luxurios safari tents between hippos and a leopard.Real Africa fun!!
Bohemian....natural....as if I walked out of the bushes. My dress was a Stella York that I bought at Timeless Bridal Coutier. The dress had n sandy pinkish undertone and on top of it tule and lace.It was an A-line dress with a Princess cut.My shoes were rosegold and grey Blue Betty vellie shoes as it fitted in with out theme. In my hair was also fresh green flowers.
Vivere Country house.Pretoria.20 Guests stayed over at the venue. It is a Fench country look with a trout dam and lots of animals like zebra, blouwildebeest, warterbuck, spri bocks....
Excersing....eating healthy,as much as possible sleep and vitamin B injections!!!!!
All was natural and safari colonial.White, light yellow ,olive green and dove blue. There were lots of lemons everywhere, green leaves, aloes, thornbranches, wooden crafts ,white candles and laterns.Al the waiters had safarai hats on with white shirts and kaki pants.
My husband had a navy suit on with a light blue shirt. He had Major John leather suspenders on a wooden bowtie. To top of the safari look,he had vellies on instead of designer shoes. The groomsmen had kaki pants, mint green shirts, wooden bowties and also vellies on.
We wanted to go for a different look as the usual.....All four of them had n different look with the same theme.Every lady had a different Poetry floral dress. And they had strilitzia leaves as bouquets.
We did not have a car,but we used a Landrover for our photos.
There were two cakes. While we were taking photos, the guests enjoyed our biltong and droewors wedding cake wich a butchery made. Then as part of the dessert we served our choclate wedding cake....a master piece that one of my friends made!!!Also the natural look with greenery on top!!The guest could not stop eating!!We also gave mini magnums instead of the ussual dessert.
Moi Nooi and Ludies craft.
