Our love story began over social media , we started chatting on facebook and then decided to meet .
He was a gentleman on the first meeting bringing me flowers and chocolates.
A week later on the 7 Feb 2015 we started dating .
Nicholas has always been a romantic guy .. and to this day still is.
Nicholas had planned everything , It was a day before our 1 year anniversary we had decided to go out for supper on the LaVue floating restaurant as this was a christmas gift for us the year before.
I had been working night shift that week and was finishing the saturday morning much to nicholas's dislike.
The entire week he had been bugging about what i was going to wear and if i was going to do my hair ... his reason was because we hardly go out for fancy dinners and he even went as far as forging a letter saying we had won a photo shoot.
So now i had to dress up...
The Thursday before i went to work i went to the mall for look for a dress ... after walking around and taking pictures of a few dresses and showing nicholas we both found one we liked ... then the search for shoes happened the same.
So then can friday morning i went and did my hair and face to look pretty ... to make Nicholas happy.
I finished work on saturday morning at 6am and went home to have a nap as Nicholas was going to pick me up at 10am for our photo shoot and supper.
To be honest the day went by so fast ...
Walking down the aisle with my dad was one of the memorable moments and seeing my soon to b husband waiting for me was truly amazing .
Our photo shoot at the beach front was relaxing and fun . We got to sneak in kisses for the camera ...
and talk to each other finally .
Entering our reception was what had blown me away , the decor was more than what i had expected.
From the foyer to the main hall it was done absolutely fantastic.
The pyrotechnics were all done at the perfect times right from the entrance to our 1st dance .
I got all i wanted even my sparkle send off, even thou it was delayed .
Yes we did go on honeymoon, a very short one thou.
We went to franschhoek , Cape Town.
We stayed at L'Ermitage Franschhoek Chateau and Villas, the views were truly stunning with wonderful and friendly staff.
We visited a few wine farms and had our rounds at wine testing.
All in all it was a relaxing honeymoon.
I had decided to go for a natural as possible look for my wedding , as i do not like much make up.
I had neutral colours done .
All my jewellery were silver including my tiara and shoes.
My dress was a 2 in 1, i had a floor length dress for the 2nd half of the reception and a full train for my church ceremony.
my Garter was blue, I had a borrowed bracelet, old hair clips and a new watch.
I didnt worry to much about the lingerie as i had packed for our wedding night .
We got married at Sao Jose Catholic Church , on Argyle road.
The guests did not need stay the night.
Our reception was held at Stanmore Community Hall in Phoenix
To be very honest I had wanted to do so many things but there just wasn't enough time for it .
I just carried on as normal.
The Wednesday before my wedding I had done my nails (fingers and toes) and on the Friday I had done me face and hands to remove unwanted hair.
And that was all I did
Our colours that we had chosen was Navy blue and Gold with red .
For the church we had opted for just white flowers . to keep it very simple.
At the reception we had bright red fresh flowers and artificial white ones.
We had thematic lighting at the reception .
The stage decor was the Buckingham set as named by our decor company.
We had a photo booth rented out for our guests to keep busy and we also made colouring books for the kids to keep them
entertained .
