Getting ready with my Bridesmaids was so much fun, we had great laughs and of course some happy tears, i really had an amazing bridal party.
Also a special memory was when my Dad saw me for the first time, the love in his eyes, that moment will always be in my heart.
But the greatest moment of all was when i saw my future Husband at the end of the aisle...
The whole day was magical, we had a blast at the reception, to spend time with family and friends is always fun, we made memories that will last forever.
We were off to Mauritius the next Morning.
We had to get up around 4 am, and we didn't get a lot of sleep as we went to bed after midnight, but it was worth it.
What a Romantic place for a Honeymoon, everything was perfect, we had the best time there, it is a Beautiful place and the staff at Shandrani Resort were amazing.
If your looking for a Romantic honeymoon then Mauritius is the place to be.
My wedding Look:
My dress were a plain A line dress with pearl and flower detail at the top, my back was covered with a sheer material, i wanted my back to be visible but not completely open.
I wore a pearl bracelet with matching earrings and white open toe Zellie shoes.
My Make up was neutral colours, i had a brown smokey eye and matching lips, and a light blush.
My hair was curled and styled to one side, i also had a white flower in my hair.
I wore white lace lingerie, and a hand made white lace gather with little blue flowers on.
We Had the perfect venue.
We got married at L'aquila Country Estate, the venue is located in Donkerhoek, Pretoria East.
Some of our close family stayed at the venue with us, while our other friends stayed just a few kilometers away at places around our venue, places like Mooiplaatsie Country estate, Casa-Lee Lodge and Die Akker.
From the time we got engaged I started doing things different, I started to eat clean and exercise to stay fit and keep in shape.
I started focusing on growing my hair, i treated it weekly with coconut oil, it was a great treatment because my hair was the perfect length for the hairstyle that i wanted.
I started using a different toothpaste for whiter teeth,
I went for a facial a month before the big day and one week before the wedding i went for a eyebrow wax.
First thing we decided on was the color scheme.
Our colors were Dusty Lavender, Dusty blue and dusk and dusty lavender being the main color.
The flowers were the next big decision, we had a variety of flowers like roses, gip, lavender etc made up in bouquets witch was also part of the centerpieces on the tables at the reception.
We used round tables seating 10 guests per table, our table linen were cream and round mirrors were in the middle of the tables with chandeliers and the bouquets, we also had Lavender ribbons around the chairs and our wedding favors were made up package of treats and droëwors
The venue were decorated with fairy lights that were draped on the roof, and we had lots of candles, this was the only lighting we had and it made the perfect ambiance witch was a romantic atmosphere.
The Groom wore a tailor made suite, which was a check blazer with light grey pants, he wore brown shoes and a custom made brown leather belt. He looked dashing.
The Groomsmen wore dark grey pants, with a white long sleeve shirts, custom made brown leather suspenders, matching belts and browns shoes.
The Bridesmaids dresses were long A line dresses made of lavender jersey material, with a layer of lavender mesh.
The bust were beautiful silver sequins material and the straps were also made of lavender mesh.
They all wore matching silver open toe Zellie shoes and matching pearl bracelets and pearl earrings.
Their hair was a braided updo and their makeup was a grey smokey eye with nude toned lips.

No, we planned everything ourselves,
The Chapel, the Reception and the rooms we used to get ready were on the same location so we didn't need transport.
We did however drove in a beautiful silver Toyota Landcruiser VX 200 to Sammy Marks Museum were our bridal party and couple photos were taken.
The chefs from L'aquila Country Estate prepared our menu which was included in our wedding package.
Our cake was made by Johan de Jager from Johan's Wedding cakes.
We made use of Decor Mechanics, they are located at GrandiFlora in Johannesburg.
They were in charge of our stationery and they also did all the flowers and Decor.
We did not take dance lessons, as we are pretty good dancers.
We made use of 4 Seasons Mobile Disco, DJ Martin was amazing, we had the best music and the dance floor was never empty.
The DJ had soft lighting to match the scenery of our reception
We opened the dance floor with Better Place by Rachel Platten, We had a Fog machine present for our dance, it looked like we were dancing on a cloud.
