The highlights and most memorable moments was all the love and emotion everyone experienced on that day. All our guests said that they have never been to such a beautiful wedding, nor been to a wedding where so many people have cried.
The most amazing part was seeing all our loved ones, but seeing my emotional soon-to-be husband waiting at the end of the aisle.
During the ceremony, there was some thunder and it immediately reminded us of God's voice, and this is a day we made our vows in the presence of God.
After the ceremony, as I looked back at the spot where we got married, there was a rainbow in the sky above it. It reminded us of when God said, that, the rainbow in the sky would be a reminder to the promise He made after the floods. Now, the rainbow has two significant meanings to us, the promise God made, and, the promise we made to each other in the presence of God.
We went on Honeymoon. It was a complete surprise, but, absolutely amazing and memorable. We drove down, spent a night in a lodge next to the Orange river in the Gariep area. Thereafter we drove down to this beautiful lodge situated in Wilderness, right in the Outeniqua mountains. The views were breathtaking. Then we went on some adventures through the Tsitsikamma, where we spent a couple of nights. After that, we stayed in a beach house at Brenton on Sea at Knysna. It was absolutely amazing, more than anything we could ever dream of.
At the end of the day, the part that mattered the most is spending time with my husband.
My wedding look was just to be soft and natural as I am. We went with vintage, but elegant.
Hair was done by Wayne.
Makeup was done by Carina Milanos.
Wedding dress was made by Bridal Manor.
Shoes was from Aldo.
Lingrie was from Triumph.
Jewellery was from Swarovski.

We got married at Harmonie Proteas.
Most of our guests stayed at Harmonie Proteas, and some of our guests at nearby guest houses.
We did not have a beauty regime
Our Decor and Flowers were done by Asante Wedding and Events. Our decor was elegant, using the protea theme and South African flowers and decor. Our colours were blush, rose gold, eucalyptus green and cream. Furniture was supplied by Harmonie Proteas. The DJ and Lightning was by Starry Night.

The groom wore a navy suit from Woolworths. The groomsmen wore beige coloured chinos with white shirts from MrPrice.
The bridesmaids wore blush pink dresses with sequence from YDE. We got our ideas from magazines and Pinterest.

Our food was prepared by Harmonie Proteas and our wedding cake was done by a friend's mother, Elaine Jansen van Rensburg.
My sister and I designed and printed the wedding stationary.
We did not take dance lessons. We won a DJ package on a Wedding expo. We only had a DJ from Starry Night.
