We started communicating via LinkedIn and he wanted to meet me in person. We went on our first date and the rest is history.
We went to one of our favorite restaurants in Port Alfred, EC which is overlooking the beautiful duck lake. The weather started changing and he asked to go and fetch his “jacket” from the car. Ofcourse I believed him because it was actually freezing. When he came back, he asked that we order some dessert before we leave. We do that and into my second bite of my caramel cake, he says “Baby, I've asked your family and friends, however, I have not officially asked you for your hand in marriage. He then got on one knee and I said YES!” Needless to say, it was easily one of the most memorable dates of my life! 04/08/2018
Our highlight was definitely the decor, our cake and our holy communion ceremony. We shared that special moment with both our parents.
