My college crush, but never had the nerve to speak to him because I thought he never noticed me. In 2016 he messaged me on Facebook Messenger and we agreed to meet each other the Saturday for lunch and a movie. Then he told me that he liked me for a while, within a week he asked my parents permission to date me and the rest is history.
We got engaged on the 04 August 2018. He told me we going for a drive, don't know where we will end up so I must bring extra clothes. We took a drive to West Coast National Park and he said I should book accommodation, and I choose Hoedjiesbaai Hotel in Saldanha. I booked a twin room but when we arrived we saw we have been upgraded and got the most perfect view with the balcony overlooking the ocean. We went for supper at the restaurant and then he said he has to get something in the bedroom, he will just pay the bill. I noticed he was gone for to long so I went back to the room to look for him. When I got there he said I must close my eyes and took me to the bathroom and closed the door. After a few minutes he came to the bathroom and gave me a card and said I can only look at it when he says. After a few minutes he brought my phone and then send a sms saying I must follow the balloons which lead to the balcony. It was beautifully decorated with fairy lights, a chair, table, candles and flowers. He started his speech and played our Wedding Playlist which we previously discussed. He handed me a gift and asked me to open it and hand him the box. He got down on his knees and popped the question, I said YES. And he said now I can turn over the card which he gave me in the bathroom and it said 'I do'
