Our special day started with calm hearts and a peaceful morning, surrounded by our bridesmaids and groomsmen, that was extra special and of course fun. We got married at a beautiful venue in the Eastern Cape Lombardini (just outside Jeffreysbay), what a wonderful experience . Me and my bridesmaids spend the morning in a cottage situated in the the bush with beautiful views of nature. We started of with a delicious breakfast and champagne while were relaxing with our favorite music. The groom and his groomsmen spent the day in another cottage away from the venue, where they relaxed and enjoy good company. While the groom and his men were relaxing, me and my bridesmaids was busy pampering with the hairdressers and make-up artist, what a great experience.
Time went so fast, I was happy to share special moments with my lovely mother and my sister (also my maid of honor) while getting dressed , they are my best supporters. When my dad saw me for the first time, the tears came without warning, we shared a special moment.
Then 4'o clock was around the corner and I was ready to walk down the aisle to marry the love of my life after dating for 5 years. Before we walked down the aisle the bridesmaids and my father made a circle and one of my best friends said a prayer for us. I walked down the aisle with my dad, tears were in his eyes, but he tried to look brave.
We got married in a church setting on the venue and made our promises to God and each other in the presence of family and special friends.
After the ceremony the bridesmaids and groomsmen went with me and my husband to take a few photos and celebrate the special moment with a glass of champagne, while the guests was relaxing with live music and snacks from the harvest table.
Later we joined the guests as Mr & Mrs De Kock, walking in the reception with our hands up in the air and beautiful song of Rita Ora "for you" - what a phenomenal feeling! We spent as much time as possible with our friends and family, the night went passed quickly and only ended early the next morning, just as we pictured it.
We went to beautiful Mauritius and stayed at the Veranda Palmer Beach Hotel. I would recommend it to any one, what a great experience with fantastic food and service. We did activities like under sea walking and went on the catamaran where we snorkeled and enjoyed good food and drinks.
Most of the days we spent our time on the beach enjoying great cocktails and perfect views.
