Highlight was seeing my husband for the first time. Nothing went wrong on the day it was beyond beautiful in everyway. It was everything I could have asked for however the most important thing to me was being able to say "I Do"to the man I love. There were so many memorable moments, the one was when my Dad saw me for the first time, he said " i cant believe this is my baby girl" Needless to say the tears ran.
No we didn't, our wedding was in December and most places are over crowed at this time so we have decided to only do it in 2019.
I went for a Cinderella dress with a little more sparkle. My hair and make-up was done by make-up and hair by Michelle. We went with curls, half up half down with a rose gold hair piece. My shoes were bought in Portugal by my Mom and Dad. Lingerie was bought from bras and things. Jewellery was bought from Lovisa, which was a simple soft pink necklace and earrings. My husband bought me a Pandora bead which his two sons came and gave to me while we were getting ready and it said, "My Wife Always" so I wore that on my bracelet.
We got married at a Hotel called "26 degrees South", in Muldersdrift, it is a beautiful hotel. It is set in the Cradelmoon conservatory, the interior of the Hotel is what caught our eye, it is a very modern African setting - bright colours. The food there is another reason we wanted our wedding there and the fact that our guests could stay over was a plus. The majority of our guests stayed over.
I went for skin treatments mainly facials specifically needeling, so my skin would glow. This was done by Skulpt Ink.
We went with a very clean simple setting I didn't want the tables to be over crowded The décor was Rose Gold, Pink King Proteas and a very specific blue colour that I wanted I searched for 6 months every weekend finding my specific slate blue colour. My husband made our own table numbers out of copper pipe, each table was named after a town in town in Italy (this is where we got engaged) My décor was done by Unlimited Events. What a wonderful company - It looked so beautiful.
My Husband had two groomsmen, 1 best man and two Jnr groomsmen - His children. The bestman was coming from Denmark, the one groomsman was his brother which stays in DBN and the other groomsman was my brother.
The Bestman and groomsmen were only selected 4 weeks before the wedding and at this time everybody had gone and bought their own suites already so we just all hoped that the colours would all blend - I was surprised because it worked out perfectly - it all blended I stressed my self for nothing. :) They had Batman pin accessories and my husband bought my dad a Plane Pin (my dads obsessed with aircraft's) This was bought from Bride and Co.
My Bridesmaids wore long dresses, one pink and one blue. Soft flowing material with a high leg slit. . It was bought from bride and co. There dress were found in a matter of seconds and they sat so nice we didn't even have to do alterations.
Our Photographers were beyond amazing. The day goes by so quickly and even if you try and take in all the details its just to overwelming to remeber. With out this amazing photos my memories would be lost. They honestly did an amazing job and were professional in every way. There name was chilipix.
No, just had my mom. :)
The Hotel did the food its one of the reasons why we chose the hotel. They did my cake to, the cake was doughnuts.

No we didnt take dance leassons we winged it. We used DJ Blast. They did sound and lighting too.
