The most memorable moments for me at our wedding was seeing my kids all dressed up in their tuxes and dresses standing at the alter with their father who was such a vision and he looked so happy.
Then ofcourse the moment when Lee and I said "I do". We waited a year and a half and the wait was well worth it.
Another standout moment for me was our first dance, our band (In Deep) actually wrote us an original song and the words suited Lee and I to a T.
I just loved seeing how happy all my guests were and seeing them have such a ball.
We unfortunately did not go on honeymoon as it was to close to Christmas and we had a lot of family in town.
The look I was going for was very classy and elegant.
I had 2 different looks:
1st was for the ceremony, this was a Morilee skirt which I got from RK Bridal in New York and I had a crop top made to match. This was my princess look.
2nd was a sleek wedding gown, perfect for the evening. This also was made by Morilee which I got from RK Bridal.
My makeup artist was Jeanine Jackson from Jeanine Jackson Artistry. The look we were going for something natural look with a nice summer glow but with enough drama to stand out. Jeanine is magnificent, I didn't even do a trial and she just knew what to do for my skin tone and face shape.
My shoes were simple and I got them for a steal on Zando.com
I didn't have much accessories as I am very simple. My earings are Swarovski.
I got married at the magnificent Fairway Hotel and Spa in Randburg, Johannesburg.
The food at this venue is absolutely out of this world and the staff were on point from beginning to end.
This is the perfect place for your wedding pictures.

I really didn't do anything. I just ensured i watched what I ate and drank lots of water.
I wanted my decor to also be very classy but also not to over the top. The venues ballroom was a good space to work with.
I used Cindy from The Bloom Room and Trendy Settings. She managed to recreate exactly what i had in my head.
My colour scheme was blush, ivory and creams.
My Groom actually got his suite made at the plaza. We saw a suite that David Beckham had worn and none of the major stores could assist us. But from the plaza we got everything we wanted. It took a week for them to complete the suite and the fit was amazing.
My Brides maids of honour wore a sissy boy dress which she ordered on line and my 2nd bridesmaid had her made.
They chose their own looks. They got their ideas from printrest and the internet.
Our marriage office was Reverend Sharmain James who preaches at St Lukes Anglican Church in Bosmont.
Her service was quick and simple but without losing the meaning.
My photography was done by Rob at Optical Noise. His work is just spectacular.
My videographer is no general videographer, Darren Jacobs from Enlightened Iris is the best in the business. He put a video together for me that highlighted the day and it was just out of the world. Not your average wedding video.
I planned and coordinated everything myself till the last minute. Crazy I know.
I didn't need any transport as the entire wedding took place on the hotels premises.
All catering was done by the Fairway. Again their food is really good. 5 Star.
Eloise from Paperworks did all my printing for me. She is so talented and went over and beyond to assist me.
Our reception was elegant and classy and was a party and a half.
During dinner and in between all the formalities I had a up and coming band called In Deep all the way from Durban. This young band are in a league of their own and know how to get a party started.
Once the band was done, we had DJ Ulroy hit the decks. If Rnb and Oldschool is your flavour, he is your guy. There wasn't a person who wasn't on the dance floor.
