James and I got married at a venue in Eston called Sweethome. It was magical! The most overwhelming thing for us was that all our guests were there for US! We felt so loved and had the most perfect day. The highlight for us was during photos. We had special alone time and could have some time to let it all sink In!
Yes! We went to Kruger National Park.
I went for a classic, simple look. I got my beautiful dress from Bride and Co in Umhlanga and it was one of the first dresses I tried! My hair and make up was done by the incredibly talented Kiss the Bride Hair and Makeup, I got my shoes from The Hub, my lingerie from Woolworths, and my jewelry from Lovisa and Accessorize.
Sweethome Weddings and Functions. Our guests stayed over at Sweethome Lodge and Hayfields House.
I went for regular runs along the beach, got monthly facials at The Zen Spa. That's All!
Our decor was very simple! We went for lots of greenery and the odd flower. We used Lisianthus from Gordon's Landscaping. The tables and chairs were at the venue already, and our DJ provided lighting. (Soundbarrier)
The groom wore a navy suit, grey tie and brown shoes. The groomsmen wore grey chino pants and a white shirt with navy ties. All of this was purchased at Woolworths.
My bridesmaids wore floor length pink dresses, white heels and simple jewelry. All of this was purchased at various online stores (they wore shoes that they already owned).
Pastor Christopher Anderson.
We used a special friend and excellent photographer by the name of Courtney Clegg. We felt so comfortable with her and she is a fun, zesty lady who brings even more joy to the day!
No, we did everything ourselves.
We didn't use transport.
Dave Dixon from Dixon Caterers made our delicious food! It was unbelievable and the guests raved. Our cake was made as a wedding gift from a special family friend.
I did! Haha
Our reception was one big celebration!!! We loved every minute, from the speeches to the food and finally the dancing!! We didn't take dance lessons, we just kept it simple. Our DJ was from Sounbarrier Productions and his name was Derek.
