We were blessed to have been able to get married on my parents farm in the Karoo, Hillston Farm, outside Middelburg in the Eastern Cape in the Schoombee district. It was a blessing to have our families and friends a part of our wedding preparations. Being a farm wedding everybody was roped in to do something, whether it be the flowers, the cake, the candles, seeing that everything runs smoothly, it was a true team effort and at the end of the day, it was the most spectacular wedding ever! I decided to have a memory bouquet with pictures of my grandparents on both my parents side as well as my aunt who'd all passed away and whom I would've loved to have had at our wedding. It was a very special deep moment when my husband saw me walking down the aisle and then saw the bouquet and to see his face. It was a special moment. I had asked my cousins kids to all secretly walk down the aisle with wooden boards that said, "Kylo, Here comes your Bride". I loved that. Then the biggest moment of all - when we were pronounced husband and wife :) That was incredible, amazing!!! And then our 1st dance as husband and wife. Was spectacular. It was a scorching hot 40 degree summers day and at the end of the evening I decided to jump in the swimming pool with my dress and all! An absolute highlight!!
