I had always thought that I would be emotional on this day but excitement was the order of the day...was warned that not everything would go my way but I was getting married to the love of my life and that was reason enough to celebrate the day...
No honeymoon...
I am a thrifty shopper so I needed to look gorgeous but on a budget...Got my dress made at the Oriental Plaza in Fordsburg for a steal...got my shoes at Rage at a discount...my jewellery was a gift...my make up was absolutely beautiful and I loved it
We had our reception at Mooka Guesthouse in Pyramid just outside of Pretoria...Guests did not sleep over.
No pre- wedding preps
The colours were yellow,grey/silver and white...just the thought of the colours got me very excited...i was not fussy with what flowers were or anything for that matter, I just wanted a beautiful space for us to celebrate our union.
My husband was responsible for sourcing the suits...I got their ties at Twills in Sandton
Oriental Plaza was were the beautiful yellow dresses were found
Senior Pastor Pule Ndlala, my pastor officiated our wedding
PAP took the most gorgeous pics of our day...memories I will always treasure
No wedding planner, just the help of family members who could not wait to see the day come alive
We used family cars
My cake was made by Hope Dessert Spot
Hope in the South of Johannesburg made the cake...invitations were home made using the Canva app
Our DJ was a friend who was out to make sure we had fun...and fun was definitely the order of the day
