One of my favourite moments, in the morning of our wedding day, was doing my mother's makeup. She looked so stunning! I absolutely loved getting ready with my bridesmaids thereafter, and having my dad come to have his 'first glance' before I said "I do" It was a very emotional moment, but I will forever cherish it.
Another special moment would be walking down the isle to meet my husband-to-be. He looked so handsome, despite having adorable tears running down his cheeks. We worshipped the Lord before getting into our ceremony, and this was something that was so amazing for us!
Yes, we did. We went away for a week to The Dune Hotel in Plettenberg Bay.
We got married at a intimate wedding venue called The Styling Shed.
I always go to gym, but the way I ate was different leading up to the wedding. I stuck to mainly greens and lots of water to slim down.
A week before the wedding, I had a spa treatment at The One & Only at the V&A Waterfront. It was absolutely amazing! I also got a manicure and pedicure at Earth, Body and Skin in Claremont a few days before the wedding.
The groom and groomsmen wore the same suits - your classic black suit with matte black ties. They looked so classy! Their suits were from Markham.
I had three bridesmaids. They wore the same dress from YDE, and it suited them all perfectly! It was a dusty rose shade with lace and off-shoulder.
My pastor. Nicholas Kruyer.
Our amazing photographer, Josh Anthony. He was an absolute star on the day. He captured our wedding day so perfectly, and I would highly recommend his services.
Yes, Jessica Lardelli assisted in our wedding planning. She was our on-the-day co-ordinator, but assisted as much as she could two months before the wedding.
Te Styling Shed has its own in-house chefs who prepared all our meals. It was so divine! We had a very down-to-earth menu, with gourmet burgers being our mains.
The cake was made by Sugar Studio, who made our dream cake come to life.
We designed and printed everything ourselves!
