My family, friends and neighbours were all outside singing, ululating when I was being picked up by the chauffeur to church. Everyone was happy to see a beautiful 50 year old bride.
When I entered the church the DJ played the classical "Here comes the Bride"
The kiss my husband and I shared after we were pronounced husband and wife.
The Minister asked the congregation to sing Happy Birthday to my husband and he was smiling from ear to ear.
Yes, we went to the Victoria Falls and stayed at Elephant Hills.
My wedding look was a combination of Natural Elegance and a bit of a Beach look. The dress was from Brides and More in Port Elizabeth, Rink Street. Hair and makeup were done by a talented Nomkita, an SMME from Humewood. Shoes were bought from Spitz in Mall of Africa, Johannesburg. Lingerie, jewellery and accessories were bought from Bras N Things in Mall of Africa. Jewellery was a present from a friend and it was bought from American Swiss. The cake was from "From the Kitchen" in Greenacres, Port Elizabeth.
The Wedding ceremony took place at the Methodist Church of Africa and thereafter we proceeded to the Port Elizabeth Marine Protea Hotel. Some of the guests stayed at the same hotel.

Décor theme was Gold and White. Gold base plates and rings. Gold centre pieces each with 6 Candle holder and a space for flowers. Flowers (White Roses with Gip and Million Stars). The décor was arranged by Nosango Flowers and Event Management.
Groom - 3 Piece Black Suit and a black Bow Tie
Bestman - Black Suit, White shirt and a normal black tie
Groomsmen - Black suits, white shirts and Gold Bow Ties.
The suits were bought from Romens Menswear Inc in Greenacres Port Elizabeth.
The bridesmaids wore Gold 3-quarter dresses from Design 1 in Johannesburg. Shoes were from YDE.
The Marriage Officer was Reverend Tokota.

Nosango Events and my friend Faith coordinated the events of the day. The Hotel staff took care of the Reception proceedings, food, music and drinks.
The BMW Convertible was hired from CC Jones in Overbaakens, Port Elizabeth.
The three course meal was prepared by the Marine Protea Hotel, and the cake was bought from "From the Kitchen" in Greenacres, Port Elizabeth.
Stationary was designed by Azola Mona and was printed at Down Town Printers in Port Elizabeth.
We were led into the venue by the Bridal Party who had a prepared dance move. when the Bride and Groom entered there was ululating from the guests. There were 12 round tables sitting 10 people, the main table for the Couple and the Bridal Party. On one side there was a Dance floor and on the other side the DJ and his equipment. The venue also had a built-in bar counter from where other drinks were served. The Buffet was served outside the hall by the Hotel staff.
