Waking up in the morning knowing that later on that day I would get to walk down the aisle towards my best friend, soulmate, adventure & travelmate and husband to be, who I am going to spend the rest of my life with filled my heart with so much joy,love & happiness and a few tears in my eyes too.
Seeing my handsome husband standing at the end of the aisle with tears in his eyes when he saw me for the first time left a lump in my throat.
Having both my parents there to see their only daughter get married (and having my dad walk me down the aisle) is a memory that will always live in my heart forever.
The entire wedding day from beginning to end was absolutely perfect in every way and every moment of that day was memorable to the both of us so much so that we wish we could have our wedding day all over again. It was a blessed & beautiful day in every single way.
We thank God for putting this beautiful union together and for everyone that shared it with us.
We left for our honeymoon the morning after our beautiful wedding.
Our honeymoon consisted of one night in Hong Kong, then we headed off to Thailand and we got to experience Phuket,Phi Phi & Krabi for ten incredible days and thereafter we headed off to Bangkok for three days for the last leg of our journey. All I can say is that we had such a memorable,fun-filled & adventurous honeymoon and made incredible memories that will last a life time.

My wedding dress was everything & more than my heart could desire. It was impeccably made by Zita & Claudia from Zita Contente Couture and it fitted me perfectly. I felt like an absolute princess on the day and I am beyond grateful to Zita & Claudia for my beautiful wedding dress and the whole process of making it too.
My beautiful glam squad, Dalene & Mel from Bobs and Beehives (Hair) and Rebeca (Make-up) put the entire finishing touches together in such a beautiful way that I was completely blown away. I have never felt more beautiful than what I did on my gloriously beautiful wedding day.
Thank you so much to these beautiful dolls for everything that you did for me & my bridal party on the day. You ladies are the absolute BEST.
One-of-a-kind, bridal accessories from conception to creation
We got married at an absolutely beautiful venue called Lavandou Wedding Venue situated in Tierpoort, Pretoria.
The place where wedding dreams come true.
Some of our guests did stay the night at the venue which was lovely as we got to see them first thing in the morning for a lovely breakfast together.
Our other guests found accommodation near the venue which was recommended by Lavandou themselves.
Lavandou Wedding Venue as part of their wedding package included a vast array of décor items from which we could choose to put together our entire wedding as we desired. They offered their professional advice to guide us so as to make everything absolutely perfect which it was at the end of the day. Flowers were bought & setup by the talented Sanja, owner of Lavandou Wedding Venue and all the flowers were exactly as I had wanted them and the setup of the flowers and decorations was magically beautiful.
The groom, groomsmen and page boys were all handsomely dressed by Euro Suit.
Their colour scheme consisted of stone colour pants, white shirts, the groom wore a stone colour waistcoat with a tie and the groomsmen wore white shirts with brown suspenders & stone colored bow ties which matched the grooms tie. They all wore very smart tan coloured shoes.
The suspenders & bow ties were specially made & delivered from Cape Town by Thys from My Bro Tie.
My two beautiful bridesmaids & gorgeous little flower girl all wore original dusty rose coloured infinity dresses that were ordered from overseas by Wedding Connexion Boksburg and it fitted them impeccably. I was so honored & blessed to have such beautiful ladies standing right by my side on my special wedding day.
Carlos Trindade - such an awesome pastor who delivered such an amazing message to both married & unmarried couples. All our guests were taken back by this beautiful message that was delivered by him.
Our incredibly special moments were all captured by Brendan Stewart from B-Fotografie together with his beautiful wife, Natasha. There was not one moment that they didn't capture and we have since received our wedding album and all I can say is that we were left speechless at the beauty in every photo captured. We had smiles & a few heartfelt tears while going through our photos and it felt like we were reliving our special day.
Lavandou Wedding Venue provides a full comprehensive service to all their bridal couples where they organize & coordinate everything according to the bridal couples dreams & desires to make their wedding day memorable and all I can say is that all our dreams came true on that day. Nothing was out of place and everything ran according to schedule. It was beyond perfect in every way.
We did not need any transport as everything from the ceremony to the reception & photos was held at Lavandou Wedding Venue which made it that much more convenient and hassle free.
Lavandou Wedding Venue provided all the catering and the food was absolutely delicious and our guests were so happy with the food. They provided such a delicious variety of food that catered to all our guests needs.
Our wedding cake & cupcakes was made and set up by Mien and her incredible team at Divine Delights and they make the most superbly delicious cakes and what we wanted is exactly what we got.
Divine Delights also provided delicious platters which consisted of various cheeses,breads,crackers,fruits & presevers to all our guests at the pre-reception area while we were off taking photos.
We did not go with the traditional invitations but rather opted for a wedding site and we created our own website using My Wedding Online.
Even though Lavandou Wedding Venue provided all the décor according to our taste from their vast array of décor we also wanted to add our personal touch to some of the décor items which we had made by the amazing Yolanda from House of Lily K. It certainly added our finesse to our special day.
We did indeed take dance lessons and it was actually a fun process going once a week for almost eight weeks filled with lots of laughs in the process with the very talented Natacia Teixeira. Our song was by Callum Scott & Leona Lewis, "You are the reason".
Our first dance on the night which included a few dips and a lift went off without a hitch and we got a few surprise cheers from our guests.
The DJ for the day/night was Marcelle & Ferdi from Lavandou Wedding Venue.
