We met at school in 2008. My fiancé was coming from the book shop, he came across me and he came to ask about a text book that we were told to buy in class. After that day we started noticing each other as we were in the same class, we started chatting a month later and the rest is history.
We were doing Christmas shopping at mall of Africa, we were with 2 of his friends. One of his friends was carrying a white box which I didn't pay attention to. As I was complaining about hunger, just before we went to sit and have a late lunch, he asked if I didn't want a muffin and I said a muffin would be fine, he then reached out to his friend who gave him the white box. He took the box and went down on his knee. He opened it and to my surprise there was a muffin and a ring on top of the muffin. He asked if I would marry him in front of a crowd, I said Yes...

I had a 20 inch black curled Brazilian hair. My make up was a natural look which highlighted my skin tone. Both the hairstyle and make up were done by Afika_m_hair_ beauty from East London. I had two dresses, the matrimonial dress and the reception dress, both from Bridal & Tuxedo in Fourways. Shoes by Jimmy Choo & Lingerie - distraction by Bonang from Woolworths. The earings were also from Bridal & Tuxedo in Fourways & the gutter from Bride & Co in Sandton Rivonia.

I got married at East London Golf Club. The guests stayed the night, as most of them are not from the Eastern Cape. Most of the guests stayed at ICC hotel, some at Regent & Garden Court hotel.
Every morning I would drink warm water with a slice of lemon, some days ginger tea with honey & a slice of lemon. I would also excercise a little bit after work at the gym. I also did facials, back scrub, massage & wax at Sobert & went to the dentist for teeth cleaning. Two days before my wedding I did manicure, pedicure & massage at Afika's beauty salon.
The matrimonial was an elegant mainly pure white affair. With white Wimbledon chairs on both sides of the big white beautiful backdrop & stage, decorated with yellow & greenery flowers. The backdrop had our names written on it, in big bold & gold font. Leeglam events put all this together. The white capert was rolled especially for us.
We had an elegant white out door furniture with cocktail tables outside the glass tent where the starter & welcome drinks were served.
The glass tent for the reception had 22
white gloss tables. Ten off the tables had cascading blush pink & white flowers with a touch of greenery. Another ten had tall glass center piece vases, filled with blush pink & white flowers, also with a touch of greenery. The gloss tables on the left hand side of the dance floor had white Madison chairs and the gloss tables on the right hand side of the dance floor had gold Madison chairs.
Silver fox events decorated the glass tent with candlelights in front of the stage, the 22 tables & the main table. The walls had purple lighting shining vertically upwards creating a romantic atmosphere.
Our Marriage officer was Mr S. Mziyako from Embalenhle Alliance Church.

I was driven in a Mercedes Benz CLA class. The groom was driven in a BMW 125i coupe.
The food was prepared by East London Golf Club. The wedding cake was made by Taylor made treats.
