Walking down the isle and seeing my groom wait for me, handsome in his one of a kind suit, and almost bringing him to tears was the highlight of the day.
The day started in a rush, family and friends all helped to set up the reception area. My Groom and stepson were a big help, they brought all the required decor items to the venue. Riette and Lyzette form Golden Feather Boutique did all our hair and make-up at the venue. We all looked beautiful in our elegant looks for the day. My Groom's hair was done by Paul James at Lemon Tree, Alberton. Nici, from Pelser Photography did a wonderful job to catch every moment on camera. We had weather of all sorts which made the day perfect.
The day continued perfectly, we enjoyed our first dance witch of course, brought me to tears. The night continued and we finished the day with a perfect night photo shoot.
Not yet, March is our date. Great places to go is Maldives, Zanzibar and Tailand.
My hair was done in a bit of an upstyle with elegant curls hanging down my shoulders. My make up was done in burgundy and rose gold with rosie cheeks. Golden Feather Boutique- Riette van Schalkwyk.

I did not require any services, I have a gym membership at Planet Fitness.
Decor was rose gold, teal and burgandy. Simple but elegant, with fairy lights, candles and soft lighting. I used calla lillies, penny gym in my flower arrangements with teal and rose gold underplates. Ivy vines with wooden slices arranged under a lantern and flower arrangement. Seating placements were real gold wire hearts with labels tucked in the hearts fold, with a finishing touch, fudge as a thank you gift.
Laser cut "surname" was done by laserland Alberton. Wessel did a great job to secure all the letters and he used the same font as in our puzzle invitations. I simply decorated it with some paint and glitter to catch the light.
Underplates were customised according to our colours, we painted them teal/ turquoise and used a stencil to finish it with a floral design.
My Groom wore a custom made tuxedo made by Dalene Ehlers, Beautiful you Bridal Boutique. My stepson, wore a Markham's suit and custom made waistcoat and tie. Service provider was Tatum Mullin.
No brides maids. It was just my stepdaughter, she wore a custom made dress, which I made myself. Rose gold sandles from Edgars. Hair and make-up also done by Golden Feather Boutique.
We had the pleasure to share the special moment with a family member, Martie Colyn. It was a great honour for us to have her part of our ceremony.
Nici Pelser, from Pelser Photography. He is amazing in what he does. He captures precious moments and even in rainy weather, hê captures even raindrops in his photographs. His link can't be found on the service provider, but Google and Facebook has his website and services.
No planner, I planned the whole event myself with the help of family and friends.
We did not require any transport, as all the activities were done at the venue. We used our own transport to and from the venue.
Wedding dinner was provided by the venue. Ice cream cake was done by Ola Edenvale, Johannesburg.
Stationary was done by You Puzzle Me in Edenvale, we had puzzles as invitations with a picture of our engagement photo shoot.
Name tags for invitations and seating were printed and laminated by us together with seating plan.
