Prior to the wedding, one turns to think of the vows, wedding speeches, if every guest will be in good spirit and so on but walking down the isle with all the guests smiling at you, trying to capture every step, my Father holding my hand as tight as he can so I don't fall(lol) then looking at the alter seeing my now Mother in law and husband, was just priceless moment.
Nothing compares...
Once that was done, all was just a walk in a park.
WE WERE ALL ABOUT FUN FUN FUN!!!
We were only able to do our honeymoon late Dec 2018 and combined it with my birthday on the 30th December. We did the Mother City - Cape Town. It was amazing and we had loads of fun. This time, we kept it local is lekker.
I had my natural hair done by Ruutos bridal in Randburg. 1st dress by Bridal Wardrobe and 2nd dress & shoes by Ellinicole Bridal, make-up done by Khethiwe Mkhabela, Lingerie by Bras&Things.
Husband was dressed by @Mthokomasondo from head to toes.
The venue: MEMOIRE WEDDING VENUE in Muldersdrift
Our guests stayed the night and were accommodated by Memoire Wedding Venue.
My daily regime: Euserine everyday products.
Ten moths prior to the wedding, I joined gym and tried to loose at least 4-6kg however by the beginning of October I stopped going to the gym because I had lost too much weight and for the month of Oct and Nov.2018 I ate pap/bread/cookies/chocolates the list goes on.
I honestly did not like the way I looked and wanted to gain back my weight.
I guess a bit of it I got back by our wedding day...lol
Due to our venue, MEMOIRE WEDDING VENUE being so elegant on its own, we went with minimal décor by Café with flaur.
The groom and groomsmen were catered for by Mthoko Masondo based in Midrand JHB - @mthokomasondo
For my bridesmaids I wanted something that will be to were afterwards. I did a lot of google and pinterest and found a beautiful elegant dress yet wearable afterwards.
We had a lady by the name of Pat Kotsokoane @pakostyles to make them for us.
The fittings were spot on and my ladies looked amazing.
MUA: Khethiwe Mkhabela who Is just amazing.
Our marriage officer was Pastor Machaka from Phodisha Dichaba Lutheran Church in Polokwane-Seshego

I found Andre's page via Instagram and went through it, we contacted him and gave him the date of the wedding and the venue so to secure the date with him.
We firstly had our E-shoot and what a gentlemen from our telephone conversations and emails to our first meeting in Maboneng JHB, when we had our E-shoot. My husband is a very shy person and would never opt to pose for a pic, Andre made us so relaxed in the streets of Maboneng whilst the people in the streets were cheering us: brother you better marry her and we were in stitches through out the shoot.
On our wedding day we were even better with our poses and confidence.
What an amazing human being who genuinely loves his talent and job.
We honestly did not see the need to have a planer as our wedding venue Memoire Wedding Venue literally run the day for you according to your preferences.
Jaco was our man for the day, he even can just before I left the bridal suit to check if I look spotless.
We are really humbled by his services and the love for is work.
My darling friend Tebatso Matshego had me covered for the day with her beautiful Merc with the number plates written our names.
We really appreciate selfless people in our lives.
The food were prepared by Memoire Wedding Venue.
We did few food tasting months prior our wedding and we had to choose from their endless variety.
We wanted our guests to eat but mostly to enjoy the food and drinks, so we sort of combined soul food which was the mains and for the canapes/starters and desserts we went the western way.

Our Cake was made by Theresa Ntlamelle, who is based in Centurion PTA.
We had four tier wedding cake, boy it was huge...

My dear Friend Tlou Madi @tloucreations based in Centurion PTA, surprised us with all the stationery samples and we loved every detail of it.
she made 150 of menus/programmes.
Selfless people in our lives.
Unfortunately hubby has two left legs so we thought, lets free style it...
It all went smooth and actually looked like we rehearsed prior to our wedding day.
We also wanted our guests to join In in our dances through out the ceremony which did happen.

Nothing beats happy bride and groom as it filters to the rest of the guests and we danced till we dropped with our families and friend.
