It was a very warm and sunny day filled with lost of happy emotions. A few clouds appeared and little bit of rain started to fall while we were saying our wedding vows, raindrops filled with blessings. The rest of the day was filled with laughter, family and friends. For sure a day that we will never forget.
We left 2 days after our wedding on the Monday. Our honeymoon destination was Phuket Thailand, but we first had a few stop overs and long layovers on our way. It was an unforgettable honeymoon. The weather was great, the people were friendly and very welcoming. We visited a few islands near by- Phi Phi islands, James bond Island and Similian islands. We didn't want to go home and enjoyed every bit of it. Phuket will definitely see us again in the future.
I went for a all natural look. Soft curls with a floral crown in my hair. I am a hairdresser myself and i did all the bridesmaids hair on the wedding day. My mother, who is also a hairdresser did my hair on the day.
My wedding dress is a dress i ordered online from Cocomelody. It fitted me perfectly after I altered it a bit when it first got here. I got a beautiful Swarovski bracelet from my husband the morning of our wedding and n wore my moms earrings from her wedding day (my something borrowed). My shoes were a light, dirty pink color from Moda shoes and the lingerie i wore, were a gift i got at my bridal shower.
We got married at the amazing Diamond Hill wedding venue close to Rayton. There is only a honeymoon suite available at the venue, so only me and my husband spend the night there. Lots of Guest houses were available close to the venue and Diamond hill is very close to Pretoria and Bronkhorstspruit, therefore most guests were able to drive back home.
I didn't really had a beauty regime leading up to my wedding. I was so busy planning the wedding, that i didn't even think about it. I went on with my normal day to day routine. I did focus on eating less junk food so that i will still be able to fit into my wedding dress.
Our wedding venue Diamond Hill was amazing. They did all my decor for me. I didn't even need to lift a finger. All the extra details i did and made myself (like the consol jars with water and candles that was on our table). I also had allot of contacts, friends and family who helped allot. My aunt did all my flowers for me on the day. We got all the flowers from Interflora Flower Market in Johannesburg. I also had friends who decorated a candy buffet table for me, with all the different candies in different jars.
The groom had a suit from Polo and his groomsmen got their outfits from Old Khaki.
I saw a picture on Facebook of a beautiful bridesmaid dress. I didn't know were i could find this dress, so i had it made by a girl who lives in the same town as me. She did an amazing job. My bridesmaids looked gorgeous.

Our amazing and moat talented photographer is Lood from Lood photography. He captured all our special moments, our house is filled with his work on our walls.
Our very amazing and talented videographer is the two stunning girls from Tintype. We cant stop watching our video, it is breathtakingly beautiful and took us back to that exact moments.
We also had a photo booth thanks to our DJ from Four seasons Disco. It was included in our package.
I didn't have a wedding planner. My only wedding planner was my husband. He helped me allot with everything. He is such a blessing to me.
Diamond Hill did all our catering for the day. And n very talented fiend made our wedding cake.
