My dad recently passed away - so the day was an emotional one! My highlight was feeling his presence at all the right moments! An hour before our beautiful outdoor wedding it poured down and the thunder came rolling in, only for it to clear up just before I walked down the isle with my mum. I saw my husband and knew I was marrying the love of my life!
Yes! We headed to the beautiful Mauritius 2 days after our wedding. It was the perfect getaway after our dream come true wedding!
My wedding dress was not what I imagined myself wearing at my wedding at all! My style is usually simplistic. A few months before the wedding, I visited a boutique called Vonve Bridal and I was completely away! I ended up falling in love with my rose gold, lace, princess gown with 1 too many layers of tulle! I Loved it!
My make up as done by the amazing Jacky Jet, Steve Madden heels & my bracelet was my 'Something new' from Swarovski.

I started training with my personal trainer, Jarrod at Virgin Active Hillcrest! 3 times a week for 3 months. He is amazing and I dropped 5kgs just in time for the wedding. I got my healthy prepped meals from Fitbite during this time as well.
I visited the Laser Loft for my brightening & skin hydrating facials that did wonders for my skin in such a short space of time.
My idea for decor was rustic chic! With wild flowers such as home grown roses, penny gum & orchids. The colours were shades of blushes, berries and maroon with tons of foilage!
Decor was done by Function Flair & the beautiful flowers were supplied by Local Spark.
Clinton got his suit made by KNS Tailors. He wanted his suit to look casual but smart, so the suit was made in a navy linen fabric. The groomsmen bought their suits from Markham.

All my bridemaids got pick a design that they preferred according to their body types and personal styles.
We were blessed with both a priest & pastor at our wedding.

I recently started my own event planning business - Cue The Confetti. So my wedding was our first shot at weddings. Myself & team planned and co-ordinated the wediding. The venue also assisted on the day of the wedding.
