The highlight of the day would definitely be the moment to see each other for the first time, just holding each other hands and taking in every moment.
While our guests were enjoying the festivities I called my husband to one said and told him we have to observe this moment, we have organised it and it is perfect.
Yes, we had a lovely honeymoon. We left our home town of Middelburg early Monday morning, the 19th of November. We arrived at Ramsgate, Kwa-Zulu Natal and spend our days enyoying the sun, sea and sand. We where there until Thursday morning where we then travelled to Swaziland. The road was long since the speed limit in Swaziland is low and we did not have means of a GPS. But the scenery was breathtaking and we enjoyed every minute of it. We slept at Maguga Dam Resort in Swaziland. A resort build on the river banks of the Maguga Dam. We could see over the whole dam. That Friday morning we travelled back to South Africa, and had a one night stay at Pestana Kruger Lodge in Malelane. On Saturday morning we entered the Kruger National Park. We enjoyed our ride and appreciated our wild life. We slept at Skukuza. On Sunday morning, we started our trip back home. We loved every moment of our honeymoon. It was absolutely perfect!
I would say my look was romantic with a hint of vintage. I am absolutely inlove with lace, so it is was fitting that my dress was covered in lace. The lace covered the almost mocha colour undertone. It fitted me well and flared at the bottem. The back was open and small diamond stones were used to emphasise it more. My shoes, hair piece, necklace, earing and bracelet were all rose gold in colour. My earings were tear drop in shape and consisted of diamonds and pearls. My necklace was very petite and only consisted of a chain and small diamond. My bracelet and hair piece consisted of pearls and diamonds. I bought my accessories from Lovisa.
We got married at Lace on Timber, in Cullinan. It just a romantic venue with an industrial edge. It is absolutely lovely. The venue on its own is spectacular.
Our closest families and bridal parties that stayed for the night of the wedding. We all slept on the venue. There were 11 rooms available on the venue and ofcourse the stunning honeymoon suite.
