Walking down the aisle with my dad by my side. Tears of joy running down my face as im entering a new chapter in my life. Seeing my now husband standing there patiently waiting. The best feeling ever, knowing im stepping into marriage with an amazing soul. Everything about the day was breathtaking. From the flowers to the decor, even the flower petals that was thrown almost in my mouth as we were walking down the aisle after becoming Mr and Mrs Hendricks. That little moments like getting a high five from your husband as the two of you come dancing in at the reception. Our first dance brought a tear to my eye. That moment when the music start and everyone quiets down. The lights dimmed down and windows covered. Seeing the smile on my moms face reminded me of my granny. How proud she would have been to see the two of us together. Small moments like those that makes a life time of memories.
We were surprised with a honeymoon gift. All access paid. A five day stay at Montagu Springs.
My look was inspired by elegance. A natural make up look. Hair was in a messy curled bun, topped with a crown to give that royal feel to the day. The dress was designed by myself. A two piece lace bodysuit and plain white silk skirt. Rounding it off with Shimansky crystals. An elegant look to complement an elegant day.

We got married at Klein Nederburg Country Guest House, which is situated in Paarl, Western Cape.
lemon and cucumber water was my go to. I must admit i saved a lot of money not spoiling myself with my favorite chocolates.
The decor and flowers were done by Moerat Events. An amazing group of people who will always go the extra mile to make your big day as successful as possible. The decor was minimalist yet elegant. Just enough greenery to complement the blush table runner. The white block table design gave the room that modern feel yet fits perfectly with the rustic feel of being on a farm .
The groom and groomsmen wore a three and two piece suit. Hired at Mr Suit. The Lucas blue suits were complemented with a blush pink tie and pocket square, made by an old friend of the groom. Their brown shoes and brown belts (Markham) perfected the outfit.
The bridesmaids wore a slightly over the knee blush dress. It had a small bow at back and covered with lace in the front. There dresses were bought for less than R200 which was a massive save for them. The outfit was completed with nude color heels and a rose gold infinity arm bracelet.

The bridal party had the privilege of having two sets of transport. The first set of driver drove the bride and bridesmaids to and from hair and make up and also to where they got ready for the ceremony (Roggeland country house). The drivers Amlan Mukherjee and Wendel Koopman offered there time to make the drive for the bridal party as smooth as possible.
The second set of drivers were Exclusive BMW Chauffeuring, who transported the bride and her bridesmaids to the ceremony.
The mouthwatering, delicious food was prepared by Moerat Events. A three course meal served with elegance.
The beautiful two tier chocolate and vanilla wedding cake was made by Leandra, Owner of Leandra Buchler Cake Artist.
Most of the stationary was designed by the bride and groom. From the menu cards to the seating chart. The hearts which were placed at every second chair coming down the aisle to the gifts table where the bride designed her own card box(money box). All those to give that "something new, yet made our self" feeling.
