EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS DAY WAS PERFECT, A MOMENT NOT FORGOTTEN EASILY.
Thinking back on this day, MY most memorable moment, was walking through the trees with the mirors dangly and the sun reflection on the water, thinking i have never loved one person so much as i love the women im going to marry any second now, as i got closser that smile got brighter and i became so calm, that it felt like it was just us and everything was amazingly perfect.
We have not yet gone on our Honeymoon but will definitely be going next year February, we have been given a week away at Knysna River Lodge by a very special friend Rene Voster.
We got married in Hogsback, had our ceremony on a property named Hunterstone, and our reception was at Hobbiton on hogsback. Guest stayed in Hogsback.
Our decor was very plain and simple. as they say, less is more ;)
The 12 meter tables and 1 meter flower boxes was made by my partner Nadia Schenk.
Chairs, cutlery and crockery we hired by Border cater hire, in East London.
Proteas bought from Avon Proteas just outside of Stutterheim.
Rosses we got at Murambi Roses in East london.
our extras we picked in Hogsback.
The flower arrangments was done by my mother inlaw, Annette Schenk and a very special friend of hers helped,
they did such an awesome job making all the colors pop.
Draping and light we did ourself with the most enthusiastic helpers ever, never a dull moment.

My bride, Nadia schenk had her suit made by her sister Lize schenk ( Flaming Angel )
Burgundy shirt with a creamy waistcoat and smart pants.
The best women had theirs made individually, as they all wore navy blue shirts, burgundy pants and burgandy converse all stars shoes.
Myself and my 3 bridmaids and 3 flower girls had our dresses maid by my sister inlaw Lize Schenk ( Flaming Angel)

Our wedding cake was made by my sister inlaw Sugne Tomkins ( Confetti Cakes )
Our food was 3 different flavours Lasagne and salad with garlic bread and the pudding was malva.
