This was honestly one of the happiest days of my life! Everything was perfect and I enjoyed every single moment. We even had the most beautiful storm, that made for such awesome photos. We had almost all of our favourite people there, so we just felt incredibly blessed and loved!
I honestly felt like the most beautiful girl in the world! My dream dress was designed and made by Lizette and her team at Bridal Alchemy. She took my vision and created something even more beautiful. My Hair and Makeup was done by Annelize from Makeup Artistry by Annelize. My "Something Blue" was my Royal Blue Ballet Pumps that I had custom made by Anella Wedding Shoes. I borrowed my Mom's Ruby necklace as my "Something Borrowed". My "Something Old" was actually part of my bouquet; my bouquet was tied together with one of my Dad's ties. My Dad had passed away two years before my wedding so I wanted to make him part of the day as much as I could.

We got married at Rose View Hill Venue & Chapel located in the Roodeplaat area. Jeanet and her team were amazing. They are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them.
Leading up to our wedding I started using regular nourishing oil treatments on my hair. I also used facial masks at home 2-3x a week in the last month and a half before the wedding.
The idea was black elegance with lots of candles and fairylights :) We had lots of black dinner candles in beautiful crystal and glass candle holders. For our wedding flowers we had Plum coloured tulips. Karen from Flowers On The Stoep did a beautiful job of bringing our vision of minimalistic elegance to life with our flowers.
The guys all looked very handsome in black suits with black ties. The groomsmen wore white shirts while my husband wore a grey shirt and black hat.
I had two bridesmaids and a bridesman as my bridal party. The girls wore black dresses and my bridesman wore a black suit, black shirt and black tie to match the ladies :) My sister and my Mom had their dresses made by Bridal Alchemy (that designed and made my dress)
Our beautiful wedding ceremony was officiated by Jaco Geldenhuys from Your Wedding Guy.
Our beyond awesome Photographer was Anna from Who'sAnnah Photograhy. I contacted her because I love her style of photography and her Stop-Motion videos are the best I have seen. With our pre-wedding shoot, our wedding photos and our stop-motion video she out did our expectations. Anna is also one of the nicest people you will ever meet so it is an absolute pleasure to have her around.
On the day itself, Jeanet from Rose View Hill and my awesome bridal party made sure that everything was running smoothly. Leading up to the wedding we did all the planning ourselves, with lots of help from Google, Pinterest and Rock&Roll Bride :)
My bridal party (including our furkids) and I stayed over at the venue the night before the wedding. There was no need for transport, we just walked up to the chapel :)
All the food was prepared by Rose View Hill and it was delicious. We decided on a 3-course plated menu served to our guests. We did not have a traditional wedding cake, but instead had 3 mini desserts served to our guests.
I designed everything myself. We used the Joy App & website for our invitations and communication with our guests.
Our wedding reception was more beautiful and more fun than we could have imagined. Loved every moment! Our DJ was Ishi from Sonic State Productions. Not only an awesome DJ that had everyone dancing all night long, but a really nice guy as well.
