For me, there were so many highlights of our special day.
One of them, when my dad walked me down the isle and gave me away to my husband.
Another highlight, after the ceremony, Samuel and I looked at each other and said "wow, we actually married" hehe it was the best feeling in the world.
When I asked my husband, Samuel, what his highlight of the wedding was he said: "YOU"
We had a 2 night's stay at The Canal Quays Apartments in Cape Town.
This is actually where I work as a Front Desk Officer. My colleagues went the extra mile in making our honeymoon special. Our room was filled with balloons petals and chocolate.
We got married at a beautiful venue in Cape Town. The Pelican Lodge Christian Campsite.
We had arranged for my family of 8 who came all the way from Stellenbosch and Oudshoorn to sleep over at the venue for the entire weekends.
I had my nails done at Sorbet in Cavendish the day before the wedding.
For our Decor, we had an amazing team who knew from the start what we wanted. They come highly recommended, Décor Luxe Event Hire.
They have done the setting up of the ceremony on the lawn with the lake view. They build a beautiful 4 post arch with sage and white draping. Our reception was simple but elegant. Rose gold cutlery naked tables with lush greenery runner. Pictures will be uploaded.
The groom, Samuel, wore a tailored bottle green suit. We purchased the fabric and asked my neighbour to make his suit as well as the ring bearer and Page boy's 2 piece bottle green suits.
The groomsmen hired their stone suits at Suit Hire (Ottery Hyper)
The grooms long slim synthetic leather tie in shade Tan was purchased online at All Things Wedding.
The groomsmen ties were purchased at Infinity Dress Boutique South Africa in bottle green with the exact same fabric as the bridesmaids dresses.

My gorgeous bridesmaids wore original infinity dresses by Infinity Dress South Africa. Colour in bottle green. The shade was indeed unique but they looked perfect.
I bought all 4 of them Rose Gold shoes as a thank you gift and to save them on extra costs.
Their make up was done by my best friend Glené Vlotman, they opted for a very natural but sultry look.

We had professional photographers Owl Books Photography. They were amazing. They understood that we wanted our photographs to display our love for each other and our guests. We wanted them to capture random moments, us dancing, laughing and just having fun.
We were brave enough to plan our own wedding, we've done an amazing job. But oh damn, it was stressful LOL!
A good friend of Samuel wanted to do something special for us as a wedding gift, he offered to escort me to the venue in his white Mercedes-Benz at no cost. (He was an amazing Chauffeur BTW!)
We hired 2 additional cars from Elegant Chauffeurs for the bridesmaids to be transported to the venue.
Catering was done by Fantastic Four Catering (Melanie Steward and team were so reliable and trustworthy)
Cake and Cake topper by Don&Nels Wedding Services. (Ronel Prins)
Invitations done by Nadia @ Cards by Nadia. Very professional and reliable.
We had a DJ, Mr Russel Crowley.
Y'all have no idea, I couldn't thank this man enough! He made it clear we understood that he is not a DJ but an entertainer! He lives to entertain
