My memorable moments are when i woke up the morning and realised that this is it. We were waiting so long for this. It was a very emotional day because both my parents are in heaven so i tried very hard not to cry. I remember my best friend brought me coffee in bed and the day started. The hairdresser stressed more than me and then she made me 30 minutes late. It didnt put me off, i stayed focussed. When i got dressed and when i went down the stairs , got in the car and my principal (im a teacher) asked me how do i feel. I knew i got this! When i walked down the aisle and saw all the special people there for us and then then i saw my future husband with our 2 year old son. Amazing feeling! We had a very good Pastor and very relaxed ceremony! Our first dance was also very special, our son joined into the dance.
My wedding look was princess. ( Im a princess - not everyone knows that!) Im the princess of God.
My hair was done by a local hairdresser in Amanzimtoti - House of Hair.
My make-up was done by an upcoming make-up artist (a teacher from my school)- Kyla Oosrhuizen
My dress was from Jasmins Bridal in Durban
My nails was done by Busi from Hair by Coleen. (I got my mom and dads name on my thumps)
My shoes from Kingsmead.
My jewellery i borrowed from an aunt working at our school( something old and borrowed)
We had a indoor garden wedding. It was lots of purple flowers and greenery. White chairs for the ceremony. With our meet and greet we had sofas and just a relaxed feeling with a question game the guest played . At the reception we had white draping with a stage for us with purple and green draping. Enchanted Gardens organised everything.
The groom Allen wore a dark green suit, white shirt with a purple tie. The groomsmen wore a black trouser, white shirt with a green tie.
My best friend wore a purple infinity dress .

Enchanted Gardens staff prepared the food. And we got thr wedding cake from Alta in Amanzimtoti.
I designed everything myself.
My reception was very relaxed and every guest enjoyed it to the fullest. Uncle Tertius made the music and we had a jol! Some parts were emotional, when my sister made her speech. And when i planned a daddy- daugher dance with my father- in - law. The guest complimented us on the nice vibe. And thats how it suppose to be. No matter what i wanted to enjoy my wedding. I didnt want this stiff ceremony or reception.
