Our wedding day was everything we dreamed of, it was a lovely summers day in October. The venue was beautiful, the food was great, and the atmosphere was festive.
Diamant Estate was one of the most beautiful wedding venues. The old Cape Dutch architecture and the magnificent view of Table Mountain and the Winelands immediatly stole my heart.
We had one wish for our wedding and that was that each and every guest had to enjoy it. The food had to be great and the atmosphere and ambience had to be spot on. I think we managed to tick those two boxes. Our guests enjoyed our wedding so much, and most important me and my husband could not ask for a more perfect day.
Our Honeymoon was in Beautiful Mauritius. We stayed for a week, at Ambre Beach Resort. Spending our time by Snorkeling, and enjoying the clear waters and scenery of Mauritius. We had such a great time.
My wedding look was elegant simplicity. My make-up was done by amazing Efraine Van Heerden from Evelyn Francis. My dress was designed by Robyn Roberts, Shoes was from Dune. My lingerie was a pre wedding gift from my Bridesmaids.

It was important to us that our wedding had to reflect both me and my husbands personalities. We went for a romantic elegant look, but at the same time adding a bit of rustic. My husband is a farmer and to go for modern was just not a option, we went with dark wooden tables and chairs, 600 romantic candles on our tables. The flowers was all white with greenery done by Martene Morkel. Diamant Estate, the venue we chose was build in 1692, with Cape Dutch historic buildings it was just perfect, the tables and chairs was from 4 Every Event Hiring. The chapel were cozy and the reception area romantic as ever. We couldn’t wish for a more perfect setting.

My bridesmaids looked beautiful, I chose their dress colour and material which suited the wedding decor and each of them could chose their own dress design. It reflected each bridesmaids personality. It was designed by Rose Mizon.
