Yes, we went on honeymoon to Maritim resort and spa in Mauritius. It was absolutely amazing.
My wedding look was to capture my style of plain and the colors, burgundy, navy, blush.
Knowing the Eastern Cape weather, I had to go for a up-do hairstyle that my hair does not blow in my face for photos and bother me all evening. My wedding dress was to sit tight until the thighs and then to flow down into a train with details on the train. Pearls on the top of the dress dress until the waist, so show the soft personality of fine. My shoes were blush zellies as I wanted to be comfortable all evening but still have a bit of height with my short legs.
The wedding venue was Bloemfontein venue in Cradock. It was more of a weekend wedding, where we told guests that we have a braai for everyone coming through the Friday evening to the venue as the venue accodated all my guests, then we had the wedding on the Saturday and then a breakfast the Sunday morning.
My bridal wedding regrime , was health and fitness. The fitness was also there to stop me from stressing that I don’t break out.
My decor was all the crystal look vases for that elegant look, but was very simplistic. My flowers had to have my absolute favorite flower the king protea. The rest just had to stay in my color scheme of burgundy, navy and blush. I can’t thank Adele Taljard enough for the amazing job she did. I used the venues furniture as it was beautiful enough the wooden tables. We used couches in one corner for all the granny’s to sit comfortably later in the evening but to also act as a photo area that I can take pictures with all my guests.
The groom has a navy suit on with a white shirt and a navy waist coat. I think he was very glad for that waist coast as it was absolutely freezing on the day of our wedding. The groomsmen, are farm guys so I know how they can be if they have to wear white, so I got them navy shirts from Cape Union and beige pants from Woolworths. They also not a fan of ties and bow ties so I said it will still look good to me with nothing. I added a groomsmen badge made out of wood that it is not too heavy on the shirt.

The people that captured our special moments were Full Circle photography from Port Elizabeth. They were amazing to know what would make the perfect photo and they let us also enjoy the special moment of our big day. They took photos in the reception of us with our guests on couches the corner of the venue, which made so much more special to us.
