The highlight of the day was seeing our guests all have the time of their lives. With this we new we had planned our perfect wedding.
There are so many memorable moments of our day but what lingers most in my memory was the speech from my Grandmother of 99 years old. Her beautiful words of love and well wishes.
We did everything ourselves, from invites to bench pews. The only advise we took from people was "the day goes by so fast there isn't time to have a relaxed day or finish your plate of food and before you know it the day is over". With this in mind, we wanted to create a memory that would last forever. Beside the photo's to tell our story, we knew if we had everything ourselves, this would be one thing we will always remember. The planning and all the preparation we've done leading up to our big day.
Everything wasn't as perfect as we had planned, but what ever did go wrong just added to the perfection and created great memories we can still laugh about. We believe that its those little things that goes wrong that adds to the perfect day.
Yes we did. We spent our honeymoon in Bangkok and Thailand. We enjoyed every moment of our time in Thailand including the food poisoning I experienced lol.
My Wedding dress was made by Fadia. It was a body fit with an A-line flair, perfectly fitted for my body.

I was blessed 27 gifts from my Ladies. This was presented on the 01/01/18. A gift for everyday.
This was extra special as each gift had either advise for marriage, a reminder to never forget or something to SPICE UP THE... pot lol. So every morning was exciting as i didn't know what to expect and what the advise would be. The last gift was given the night before my wedding. My last night in my parents home. My mom presented me with my late Grandmothers ring as something old, new, borrowed and blue and a Handkerchief with our wedding date she had embroidered.
Our flowers was done by Beautiful Blossoms. It was as beautiful as the company name.
All the other furniture and things were all included in our package with Eensgezind Function Venue

Alison & Brenden from Imagine Photography captured our special day. We did not have a photo booth but we had a photo corner and Imagine photography had loads of props for our guests had plenty of fun.
We arranged and planned our own wedding and coordinated everything ourselves leading up to the day.
On the day, we had a family friend Rita Williams who was the back up person for any queries or assistance on the day.
At the venue, we had an amazing Coordinator who assist with our every need and had the same vision we had when we described it to her at our first meeting. Wilhana at the Eensgezind Function Venue really made it possible for us to experience the most perfect day we had imagined.
This is actually very funny to describe.
We hired 2 x BMW vehicles from Jayzee Shuttles and 1 x BMW from a family friend. We made arrangements for the cars to be at my parents home at 9am. It got to 9:45am and Jayzee Shuttles were nowhere in site. After numerous calls and no answer, our last resort was back up our family friend arranged. His Dad with his Mercedes Benz and my Cousin with his Golf 7.
Needless to say our wedding transport arrived at the church when we were husband and wife lol and it was not the cars that we booked but we had a nice slow drive to our wedding reception.
Our food was prepared by the amazing inhouse cheff Nicola at the Eensgezind Function Venue and our beautiful wedding cake was created by Cakes by Sam
