I had the chance to live my lifelong fairytale dream. This was one of the most magical days God could gave us.
My mom and I spend the night before my wedding together. My favourite girls night of all times. She made me feel so special. That night I promise her that I will always be a good wife to my husband as she is for my dad.
My dad got a glimpse of me just before the walk down the isle. A small tear ran down his chubby cheek. And he whispered... I love u so much.
Slowly I walked down the narrow path, with a heart beating throat. I saw him standing in the front of God's home...waiting for me to make a lifelong promise.
Before the reverent could welcome us we already kissed!! What a relief it was.
At the reception We got something only a hand full of people got on their wedding day.
My dad sang us a song to give his blessings to us.
Never have I experienced such a miracle feeling.
Well this is the part that my husband can wright books about... So his fairytale started. We went for our honeymoon to Wilderness and Knysna. Our Day started with a happy Birthday song. It was my husband's birthday. With a big smile of happiness and a shimmer in his eyes of proud, he shout out on the top of his voice..... You are my wife.. The best present I could ask for!!
The road was shorten by the incredible idea that our lifelong journey has began.

We went on a boat, we snorkel and saw the see for what it really is.

We're do you start, and what look will you go for? This questions runs from morning till night in your head. Well Pinterest helped a lot, but the right choice can't be decided, you have to feel it. So my heart decided to go for a classic look. My hair was in a very loose bun with pieces of hair hanging loose. My make-up, which was also done BY DELANY SLABBERT, was a clean classy look. The colours she used was pinkish and bronze look.
My dress I got form VELENCIA HARRISON DESIGN in Cape Town. She is such a darling and a he'll of a good designer. My shoes was more a vantage look. CHARLES AND Keith helped me with this choice. My jewelery was simple but catchy. The earing I wore was pearls as well as the bracelet.

The venue were we swet, cry and laugh, was at Groenrivier wedding function venue in Ribeeck-Wes. It is close to our home town, the guest didn't have to sleep anywhere.

I really didn't do anything extra. Obviously you don't eat as much as usual, because of a little bit of stress and excitement. But that was only 2kilos I could say goodbye to.
Me and my husband decided to pay for our own wedding day. Our budget wasn't big. I've decorated my own tables, made my own menus and organise my own flowers for the tables. My bouquet was made by a Friend, LINDY KAISER. my other stuff, like placemats, candles and lanterns, I rent from To-Netss in Paarl.
It was very hard work to do a lot of the decorating by myself, but family is one of the most amazing things in life. They helped me were they could the best they could.

My handsome groom and his groomsman decided to wear black suits, with white shirts and black ties.

My mean team wore a long dress that was a grey, olive green. The top of the dress was lace, but it was loose from the dress, Only the top part were attached to the dress. They're shoes had a little bit of height and the colour .... grey.

We decided on a old vintage car. A 1956 Rover, from DANIE VAN ROOYEN, made us feel like a million bucks. The sweetest, most caring man took us where we wanted to be and carried my vail where I walked.

I can still remember the mouth watering smell of the food. The taste was something out of this world. A home-made Chicken pie, with leg of lamb and something green... Made the plate look amazing and the tummies happy.
Our wedding invitation was a video, me and my husband made on the beach. A friend helped us filming the short videos and but it together.
My menus for the table and welcome board, was handmade by me.
We are very easy going. For the opening of the dance floor, we choose a song, danced in the house to see if it can work and it did. We didn't took any lessons for the dancing part.
Our DJ, DJ WICO, made it possible to have a fun and unforgettable night. He met us a month before the big day, to get to know us. The music he played was a perfect match for the type of wedding we wanted.
