Having all my family and friends from Cape Town with us on our wedding day. Last minute run arounds that had to be done... bride and groom had to get ready and my husband had to wait for 20 minutes as I was late and only because the Cape Town family and friends let me run late. Finally after so many prayers the day arrived... I'm getting married!! It was a day filled with many blessings.
Yes we went on honeymoon..
Umngazi River Lodge and Lake Naverone. It was amazing we had so much fun, lovely weather, we were spoiled. We didn't want to come back after such a lovely holiday.
Weddind look was very simple and plain... I'm from the Karoo so I love the natural look. Lace dress, no sleeves, natural make-up look, shoe leather cowboy boots, seamless lingerie of Woolworths, jewellery from my mom so that was my something old.
Riverfront Farm, it's situated on the Vasfontein road in the area of Rooiwal. Family and friend from Cape Town stayed at Bush Loerie Guest House.
I'm a plain Jane... so I just rest well and kept with same routine as normal.
Decor was very plain and simple..
Drapping was all in white, paperballs and lantern was white and blue. Flower wooden boxes, home made, with baby breath, fern and succulents. Fairly lights was hanged by the venue people.
Pants and shirt was bought by Woolworths, shoes his own, belt and tie made by himself, waistcoat was made by designer Corné Lombaard.
I didn't have bridemaides only flower girls, the wore white and navy blue dresses also from Woolworths
