Our entire day is memorable, everything just worked out perfectly. We had the most beautiful sunniest day, the food was absolutely delicious and the venue was just perfect for a fairytale wedding. The highlight of my day was seeing my husband at the end of the isle and knowing I will be spending my entire life with this person. It was just a magical day shared with family and dear friends.
We haven't had a honeymoon as yet and hoping to have one this year. Seychelles would be perfect (hint hint)
I was told I looked like a greek Goddess so I guess I pulled off my dream look. I had a messy updo hairstyle with a golden leave headpiece, my makeup was done by a talented up coming artist I had a golden smokey eyes look and very natural, my dress was snow white and lace with a open back it was just perfect. My earings was rose gold leaves with a pearl and rose gold bracelets.
We got married at Avianto in Muldersdrift, some of our guest stayed on the venue premises and the other stayed over at Bergvallei guesthouse and all other guesthouses within a radius of 5 km from Avianto.
Had a few classes with a personal trainer at sparta fitness, and to keep my skin clear I didn't wear any makeup 2 weeks leading up to the wedding. 4 days prior to the wedding I went for a spray tan that gave me a nice bronzed tan that looked amazing in my white dress. My manicure and pedicure was done at Thooly's nails, another amazing woman that's very talented.
The decor was subtle yet so beautiful, the set up of the table centerpieces was done by family and they did an absolute great job with the decor, the lighting was part of the DJ package and it also was beautifully done by Avianto's preferred DJ. The theme we went for was gold, white and hessian. The banquet hall itself is so beautiful and has a very romantic warm touch to it, you don't have to have extreme over the top centerpieces. Our centerpieces was gold branches with green ferns in between with a white damask table cloth and gold underplates and rose gold candles in silver stands.
They all had black suites, white shirts and a black bow tie on. The suits of the groomsmen was bought at Oriental Plaza and the groom got his from Sedgers in Vereeniging. They all looked very handsome.
My bridesmaids wore champagne colour infinity dresses. I couldn't ask for more special and beautiful ladies by my side. Breathtakingly beautiful ladies
Our day was captured by Rentia Smith, one truly talented photographer and also family. She just makes you feel at ease in front of the camera and all her photos are with natural light. I would recommend her to anyone.
We had a coordinator from Avianto, a wonderful lady called Enes. She was helpful throughout the planning and on the day everything was as we discussed.
The food was prepared by Avianto's chefs and our very unique biltong cake was made by a family friend who I also would recommend to anyone.
The stationary was designed and printed by myself and my husband.
The party was fantastic, everyone had a good time and didn't want to leave. We had a DJ and they are called Blast entertainment, he had everyone on the dance floor all the time. Our first dance was so amazing with the dry ice machine making it more special, the song we danced to was " Ek sal" by Juanita du Plessis and Theuns Jordaan. The vibe at the party was fantastic, we literally danced through the night to every song. The lighting that was supplied by blast entertainment had such a perfect fit and effect to our gold, white and hessian wedding theme.
