The most memorable moment was when I walked down the aisle with my father and laid my eyes on my handsome groom whom was waiting for me. Another highlight was our prayers for each other as husband and wife.
No because we welcomed our little boy into the world.
I was in love with my mother's look on her wedding day and couldn't believe after more than 30 years she does not have to hide her wedding photo's.
So she was my inspiration to be a timeless bride. My hair was a updo with natural make up. I went for a lace wedding dress to be timeless and elegant.
I wore a pearl sandal to be comfortable and only had earrings and a headpiece.

We got married at De Uijlenes near Gansbaai. It's a forest venue.
Our guests stayed at the venue.
That made the venue even more perfect!
We went for the rustic look. We kept everything simple and natural.
Most of the decor was DIY and Nadia Adams arranged our flowers. All the flowers were only white and green.
The groom's suit was custom made by The Tux Tailor.
The groomsmen were dressed by Woolworths.
I had six bridemaids and to accommodate everyone, I decided to use infinity dresses from Glitter and Glamour.
My husband's uncle was our marriage officer. (Koos Marthinus)
That was very special that a family member married us.
We were lucky to had Gayle as our photographer from Catchlight image photography. She turned our vision into reality.
On the last minute Andre accommodated us from Cookie film productions and captured all the right moments of our special day without any effort.
We were lucky that our venue was responsible for the catering as well as for the cake. They made the arrangements so much easier.
The bride!
We danced the night away!
We went for dance lessons and it was fun to do something together, other then gyming!lol!
I dont regret taking dance lessons because your first dance as husband and wife is a very special moment and we had a videographer!! That moment was captured for life!
We had a live band. There was actually two bands. One we hired (Earl's band) and then my husband's band.
My husband is a music lover and his brother and two cousins were in the band, only for our wedding. That was his personal touch towards the wedding. My brother inlaw was singing our first dance song! It was so special!
