The photos speak for themselves. Our Fusion wedding day with some of our nearest & dearest. What a wonderful & memorable day in windy Cape Town x
As we live abroad, after the wedding we spent some quality time with our 'new' BIG family and friends before we headed back to our Home away from Homes.
Where East-meets-West. The wedding was Indian-Fusion inspired. My husband, Jay, originally from India and I from South Africa.
Gold and Teal impressions across the decor. The most eye catching was of course my beautiful bridesmaids wearing trendy Indian sarees, bought in Cochin, India.
My Gown was a Stella York sweet heart, with spectacular beading, gorgeous laces and enchanting fabrics....what more to make me feel like a princess on the big day complete with Forever New, peep toe diamante kitten heels.
Hair for myself & bridesmaids was done by the talented Talita at MIST.
Makeup was done by the up and coming fresh talent of Beautify by Lindsay.
We got married at one of the very few SeaView venues in Cape Town. Overlooking the enchanted and spectacular views of Simonstown - up on the hill overlooking False Bay. Blue Horizon offered what we were looking for in a venue - intimate and cosy. Guests stayed at various B&B's in Simonstown as well as long stay AirBnBs.
All that Glitters is Gold!! Janine & her Team, at Prickly Pear Events, made it a reality come true. With the Indian-Fusion inspired decor - from the glittering gold, creams and dusty pink from the gorgeous flowers to the 'chill lounge' where guests could enjoy the views and fresh air outside in our 'Little India Tent'. Decor consisted on Indian style benches, large scatter cushions, brass finished tables finished off with a 'sky full of fairy lights'. Our 'Little India' was a vision made real!!
Complete with Indian 'Bindi & Bangle bowl' for the ladies to get their Indian accessories to the 'Cigar Bar' for those men (and ladies that fancy a cigar in celebration...
Our charming Groomsmen together with our Stunning and charismatic Groomswoman, Taryn, helped to keep my husband in a calm and relaxed state.

My Amazing Ladies were just superb!
So to complete the East meets west theme my bridesmaids worn authentic Indian sarees in Teal & Gold - made in India! Don’t they look stunning!!
Etienne & Rudy from Groenspoor Productions, were real gems! Putting up with all my last minute requests, including driving down to the beach (less than 10mins away) but in the windy Simonstown weather - it really was cold!
Rudy with his eye for detail and coming up with suggestions to make our photoshoot one of a kind - the hiking up hills and bushes - definitely worth it!
Well what can I say, Janine was amazing.
Janine from Prickly Pear events helped me from start to finish. As we live abroad it was different to co-ordinate everything... she did this effortlessly! Sad we was not well on the Big Day as she too was so excited to wear a Saree for the first time! She was there is spirit and ensured no matter that her team made everything work! Thank u so much!!
All food was prepared by Blue Horizon who were able to help in extending the 'indian fusion' included in the Chicken Florentines in an mild curry - definitely dish of the day!
After many attempts to find someone that could help create the dream cake, with intricate henna designs, the wedding Cake was make by Reyhana Nackerdien ~ The Bakers Sanctuary.
Luzanne at Prickly Pear events just made our ideas a reality! Guest were amazed at the stunning invites.
