We live in Malawi. The wedding was in Worcester, South Africa. I had to leave my beautiful fiancé in Malawi so that I could prepare and finalize the arrangements for our wedding day, which was 110 days before we planned to say I do. After we said our goodbyes at the airport, we would only see each other when I walk down the steps in the church the day of our wedding. And what a wonderful blessed day it was.
Yes. We went to the amazing Kafunta River Lodge, South Luangwa National Park in Zambia, as well as the jewell of Likoma Island, located in Lake Malawi, called Kaya Mawa Hotel.
I was looking for a dress that was elegant and breathtaking at the same time, something that would go together with my "something old" earings that I got from my grandmother. Nicolene Griessel made my dream dress.
My hair was just as natural as can be. Makeup was done by the beauty Corné Visser. And our wedding was at the same place our first date was in 2013 @ Bon Cap.
Our wedding was @BonCap_Wedding. Some of the guests stayed at the venue. Michelle, the owner and wedding planner did one amazing job. We live in Malawi, and she just took our ideas and transformed it into the wedding we had always dreamed of.
It was just perfect. The wedding planner Michelle at Bon Cap just knew what was going on in our head, and she made it into a reality.
Lilac photography was our photographer. And wow, Lize and her team is so amazing. Everything was captured so perfectly.
