When I walked down the isle with my father by my side, I could see GP’s face from where he was waiting for me. It was such an emotional moment. Everyone faces when they saw me for the first time, dressed in white. When the ceremony was over, GP and I turned around and while looking at our family and friends, they give us their blessing in the form of a song. Every time when I look back at that moment, it gives me goose bumps. I cannot describe the feeling, it was so overwhelming! To share the whole day with our loved ones. When we walked into the hall everyone was clapping hands and you could hear some whistles, it felt so good knowing everyone was so happy for us!
We went to lovely Crete - Greece. This is such a beautiful place for a honeymoon. We'll go back time and time, again!

From the beginning I knew I want a more fitted shape dress with a long veil. Something that is classy with a modern look, enough detail and a bit of “bling”. I did not want to wear too much jewellery on my wedding day because I wanted all the focus to be on my wedding dress. I needed something that I felt comfortable in, a dress that makes me feel beautiful and happy! My dress turned out to be exactly like it!
My wedding shoes was well fitted, i could walk the entire day and dance the night away with those heels. It was very comfortable.
My hair and make up were gorgeous!! I loved it. I went for the dramatic eye and more natural lips. Talented Stephanie made my green eyes "POP" .
Rudi is a perfectionist, do i need to say more? He never stopped until i was happy with my hair.
All these people are very kind and helpful without them, my wedding day would not have been so incredibly beautiful!!
I'll recommend them a 1000 times and more!!
The wedding took place in Potchefstroom at The Roots. We decided on Potchefstroom because there are so many good memories. We thought it good to add another beautiful one!
The guests stayed at family and friends in Potch, some of our friend are still studding at the NWU! There are so many guesthouses and lodges to choose from.
Drink plenty of water. I never rely got time to exercise, but on some weekends we did hiking trails.
Two weeks prior the wedding, i went for several facial masks at Sorbet. That was about it.
Groom's tuxedo were from Coquis.
The men were like men!! They never stress an leave everything for the last minute! The men wore navy suspenders and bow ties. Their trousers were also navy with a light, light navy shirt. We got everything form Woolworths.
I decided that on my wedding day i want to incorporate everyone's uniqueness and beauty. I let the girls bought their own dresses, something that they will wear again. Everyone personality showed on my wedding day. That made my day even more special!!

They are both spontaneous with a great love for what they do. They walk those extra miles for the couple on their wedding day. They caught every incredible moment on camera & video. I recommend them a thousand times and more.
Inaki events and decor. They are the most relaxed and comfortable people that are willing to sit and listen to every bride. Listen to knows exactly what you like and do not like. They help you to have a stress free wedding.
This are the people that put all my dreams and planing in to action, they made my wedding day look like a fairytale.
GP's dad love old cars. He buy all the rely old cars that he could get and fix them up... something like a hobby!
The wedding transport was a pretty blue JMC bakkie. Everyone loved it.
The Roots made the wedding food, it is included in the wedding package.
The wedding cake from Cake Extreme. They made the cake from a picture that we gave them. The cake turned out to be so extremely beautiful and ooooh soooo yummy!!
One of my dear friends are a graphic designer. She did all the stationery.
We hired a DJ. I personally feel that a DJ is not necessary (sadly it got to me after my wedding). You can do the music yourself. Make a playlist and ask someone to stop the playlist when you want to play a specific song, the first dance or father and daughter dance.
All the guests said they loved the party. It was a warmth relaxed wedding. Everyone enjoyed the day, the were never a dull moment. The students and young people dance till late :)
