Yes! We had the most beautiful honeymoon in Phuket, a city that will now always be extremely special to my husband and I.
My hair was beautifully styled by Jan from Bespoke Hair. My makeup was done by Khadija from Radiant Images and I chose to go with a sweetheart, Princess styled dress with a lot of bling! My shoes and accessories my something old that I had for a while and my lingerie was from the Bonang range in Woolworths.
Caleb and I got married at the Church we attend, CRC Riverhorse valley in Durban. Our reception was at D.L.I Hall, also in Durban.
To many this may seem plain and old fashioned. To us, the venues were perfect. We wanted to be married on holy ground - hence the church that my husband's family go to every Sunday and the DLI Hall is an old, strong building in Durban with much history and beautiful wooden finishes.
My beauty regime included yoga, pedi's and manis at various spa's, lots of hydrating serum by bioderma and lots of water.
I also ate nourishing, balanced meals and snacks.
My decor was fairytale style with the round tables and tiffany chairs decked in Gold with a pop of royal blue which was the cupcake and the napkin. I didn't want to go with pastel and rustic as I've been to too many of those weddings in the past 3 years and wanted to be unique!
Our stage was a night sky background with fairy lights with white frames lit up with blue and purple.
The groom and groomsmen worry black penguin suit and royal blue suits, respectively.
My bridesmaids wore royal blue dresses. We tailored their looks to suit the girls individual styles.
Our marriage officer was our Pastor.
Our videography and photography was done by Studio D Photography.
I'm in Marketing and I love doing events hence I did my own planning.
My ride was a lovely spacious Porche Cayenne. This was perfect for my large dress. My husband drove in via a C200 Mercedes-Benz and we drove off with our bridal party in a hummer limousine.
I designed my stationary which was then printed by Ganasen Press. They are really so professional and did an excellent job.
We had a DJ but I did the choreography.As a dancer, I taught my hubby and I a classic routine to Justin Timberlake - Mirrors.
