We decided to elope, and to get maried on the beach at Grootvlei Guest farm in Lambertsbaai. The only people there was me my husband Danie my mom my uncle and my aunt and there daughter. It was a very windy day but it did not matter we wanted to get married on the beach and nothing could stop us. The ocean the big cross and the sunlight comming through at the right moment when the pastor prayed for our marriage. My husband looked so awesome and I knew God had given us a second change.
We were in the Western Cape all the way from Benoni Eastrand ....we had our honeymoon there
My hair was curly up on one side with a turquoise colour flower in it, the perfect way to be on the beach. My make up was fresh and natural. My lovely dress was made by Belinda Breedt the top was turquoise and skirt was white with a cross open back and more turquoise sequence. I wore knitted beach shoe strings that my mother in law knitted for me(must mentioned that she have Parkinsons). My juwellery was a set that my husband bought and my armbracelet was borrowed from my sister. My perfume was Hypnotic poison my favorite and from my daughter Retha Buys this was my something new. I had a stainlesssteel flask as my something old and this was from my dad that have past away in October last year. There was also 2 turquoise candles one with my dads photo and one with our favorite verse on.
We got married at Grootvlei Guest farm Oppiduin in Lambertsbaai. This was a elopement wedding and no guest stayed over we had the whole lodge for ourselfs.
I was on the 28 diet plan for 3 months.

The platter and cupcake was made by Theresa from Grootvlei and we had dinner at Issabellas a local restaurant
I made everything myself
We did not have a party only when we got home on the 23rd of September .
